I usually get around $200 in cash as a bonus from the boss at the end of the year. This year only got $100 due to a slow year. I work a shit tier desk job btw.
Are bonuses common? How much you guys get and how often?

Take this kiddo, now go and buy my bags
My total bonus for this year was $1,400, it was given once in the summer, and once before Christmas. I started this job around six months ago.
Canadian dollars by the way.
I got 10k this year. 1st year in finance industry
I got 1k this Christmas. 56k salary.
It depends on your position and industry. For myself, I got 35k last year, though it flucuates.
3-5k nothing crazy. Government contractor
$5000 bonus is standard for anyone with a decent job
Been working here for 4 years. Most I got was 4k I believe and 3k raise. Last year was tight so I got a 3k bonus and 1.5k raise.
I get 4 quarterly, 1 holiday, and 1 end-of-year bonus. I've kept track of it for the past 3 years in Excel.
Everyone at my company got a $600 Christmas bonus.
No bonuses because shitty company but went from $21/hr to $32/hr in one year because I played hardball. First job out of college with no internships so pretty good hate the job and industry though
Forgot to mention I got almost $1000 in unofficial bonuses throughout the year
my bonus is that i have a job to go back to next week
My boss gave me a $25 dollar amazon gift card.
130k salary.
$500 check and a $50 gift card (same as last year). Also got a $250 gift card a few months ago. Last January I was given an additional $500 bonus and a $2500 raise, so hopefully that happens again.
$20-$50k annual bonus + $25k stock (long term incentives that vest over 3 yr period)
I've worked at my job for a bit over a year and I got a 1.6k bonus. Make 55k.
Also leafistan dollars
that means you made the company 550k this year
~$30k in stock and cash. 4 quarterly bonuses, one annual.
$2500 per year based on branch performance. $1500 per quarter based on meeting individual performance metrics.
More than that. I put together togethe rall the kpi metrics upper management uses so I would know lol. It's chill though, I started the year making 44k and they pretty much immediately gave me a raise and more responsibilities when they realized I wasn't retarded.
Lol. A hundred dollar bonus. If my boss handed that to me, I’d literally put it back in the envelope , hand it back to him and say, you apparently need this more than I do you stingy fuck
projected to get $9300 after taxes this year
70k salary
>$100
Thats not a bonus but an insult. I am a 2nd year equity research analyst and I got a 29K bonus this year, and thats nothing compared to M&A bonuses.
Sounds like your boss was just cheap this year. Honestly, $200 is more of a chrismas present than a bonus. Typically a bonus is 10-50% of your total income, if it truly is meant to be an incentive for continued performance. If you get a few grand you are being strung along.
i got a $50 target gift card this year. last year was $100 cash. i work at an insurance office.
No you wouldn't
$2500 christmas bonus
$3000 vacation and holiday check
In what industry are the bonuses 50% of your yearly salary? Goddamn
Anything at the management or senior technical level. Think Chief Engineer or Area Manager at a fortune 100.
