Lots of memery here, but my prediction is that it doesn’t matter. If Trump loses, the feds will conveniently drop all interest rates and the market will skyrocket. The tariffs will also be removed and again conveniently the market will go up as it always does when Democrats are president. Several years later, the market will truly crash as Democrats only care about short term gains and it’ll be right when the Republican President wins. So basically, either Trump will struggle to get this market to move, although it will, or a Democrat will win and we should all take profits and put everything in cash. Are they distancing themselves from him? I don't see that happening. Trump has the one thing that the GOP desperately needs and yet almost never has: a large, engaged and active base that would do almost anything for him (including vote against Republican incumbents.)
