For crypto not as much, but everyone has a robinhood account with $3k of their dad's money in it. Kids hit me up all the time thinking I'm some genius trader because I bought bitcoin the day I turned 18 in 2016, when in reality I haven't really done a whole lot other than hold/sell my original stack, or set up monero miners on the websites I make.
(in fact check the fsu IFC website - you'll notice your processor will tick up a bit when you're on the site for...reasons)
