Just sent my application to mcdonalds

depression
eat shit for a while
use job money to work yourself to a better life
If i worked at mcDonalds, I would see how much free food I could eat before I got fired.
Like I want to eat so much I want to see there is a loss of net profit just having me there.
This is the best case scenario. Make sure you spend all your free time to work towards something better.
managers are morons on power trips
then you would need to be in night shift for maxim damage
I will never understand why people choose to work at McDonald's or any other fast food when there are better shitty jobs that don't make you smell like shit. Wait tables and get tips. Fuck even Walmart would be better.
because McDonald doesn't care about employment history. McDonald's does hire convicts.
Ignore your co-workers for the most part. Some will be young kids working their first job, that's cool, be nice to them, help them out a little where you can, but avoid their drama. The vast majority of your co-workers will be idiot aggressive negroes with loads of attitude. Not much you can do about it because the owner will know that those kind of people are the only way he can fill a high-turnover, low paying, mindless job with expendable morons.
Honestly, if you do act like a mature leader and decent worker, and are able to get along with your manager, you'll probably move up to more pay and more responsibility. When you're able, get to know the owner. Thank him for your job after you've been there a couple of months, send him a copy of your college grades or some other accomplishment with a thank you, whatever - doesn't take much to stand out from the crowd of mouth-breathers that can't clear a drive thru line in under 20 minute wait. Remember: low drama, gratitude, keep your eyes on not falling into the "culture" of your co-workers, because you're going to be working with a lot of human trash.
This.
Factories are great too. Usually piss easy work, no customer service and it's a good way to break into an industry.
don't fall for this meme. there is no "working your way up". it's a scam.
I have no education and I make $90k a year. how? look at some job posts, see what skills they require. learn those skills, create a portfolio, then apply for entry level. you'd make 2x what "working your way up" from unskilled labor would get you.
after about 2 years, quit. that's the most important part, else you'll be stuck with like 3% raises per year. quitting and applying to the next job gives you a 20% raise.
you'll be quickly on your way to a $120k+ salary doing that, instead of sucking your bosses dick for an extra 1%

Not getting accepted. A lot of people apply to McDonald's so the chances of you succeeding aren't actually that high. Actually, it's because of this high application rate that workers have to work so hard - they know they are disposable.
pretty chill if you work out back
being a cashier is hell

Honestly the funniest thing on this board right now.
It's why I clicked the thread
someBODY once told me
Real life
i dont get. why dont people just get a degree in a field that they are interested in and then get a job that they enjoy and where they are paid well. i mean why not?
it's exquisite, with reference to Goya's masterwork
All my friends who have worked there have only ever said how terrible it is.
>implying beggars can be choosers when it comes to the "competitive job market"
>THESE FRIES COLD! GIVE ME A REFUND!
>throws cell phone across counter
>lands in deep fryer oil
>scalding oil blasts all over OPs arms, face
>boils from burns pop and spray puss into deep fryer
>OP goes to jail for violating safety laws
>gets a cell with Big Tyrone
>shit jobs with revolving door turnover rate are competitive
