I have sent out literally 400-500 applications across multiple platforms. I know I'm not the only one having a hard time finding employment as other anons post here regularly about how brutal the job search is.

How long have you other anons been unemployed now?

>inb4 boomer bullshit about "muh hardwork" and "just get a job"

I was in this position too, except I fell for the university meme and got into debt whilst also being unemployed. Them I landed a job working in an opticians and I can't fucking leave. No one except other optical places will even ring back.

I just want to land an office job that I can cheese promotions from and not have to deal with the general public.

Disgusted in myself for being 22yrs old stuck in retail I'm going nowhere fast kill me now.

Applied for 200+ jobs in 4 months. In the end, I got 3 job offers. I spent a good bit of time doing online courses (on data science) during that time. In the end, it wasn't that hard to find a job (the courses helped, plus I ramped up the quantity of my applications and also improved my CV over time). The one I accepted (verbally) has been slow as fuck at communicating with me and still haven't sent me a written offer (they said they will next week). I interviewed with them in mid November. I decided to start applying for more jobs a few weeks ago because they were being slow and now I have more interviews coming up. These jobs are in a different country (with higher salaries), so hopefully I can get one of those.

im unemployed for 3 months now but I am not looking.

I start looking next week, will probabaly take me a few tries to land a job, but generally usually everybody wants to hire me.

the trick is being on top of your game when you go for your interview, also only do one interview per day max.

make sure you are fit and healthy, meditate, sunbathe.

I usually have companies fight over me when I search for new job.

I work in IT.

>applying across borderlines
I'm guessing you're not in the US?

EU

You have a degree now or no? Are you American?

I hear job search is much easier over there from anons. Good luck

How many years experience? You can't be on top of your game at the interview if you don't even get a call back.

I sent out 1800 in the past 12 months.

economy crashing soon. when the new system comes in, it will be socialist. the socialists will need a way to verify their contracts. they will use chainlink. You need to live like a monk and throw your entire net worth into Chainlink right now.

3 years.

1 year experience as Programmer
1 year as operations Engineer
1 year of made up experience.

really the key thing to getting hired is nailing the interview. You can only nail it if your organism is in top condition.

that means

- workout
- eat the right foods
- meditate
- sleep long enough
- get enough light

You have to own it. Snorting a line of cocain can help your confidence although what I do is a cold shower an before my interview. that shit really puts you in ascended state for a few hours.

Last time I did interviews I had two companies and I played them out against eachother so they both wanted me and I managed to get a big increase in pay out of it.

if you don't have working experience you can get experience in your field by doing a project on your own.

Also build a good linkedIN, I get 4 job offers a day on that shit with 400 connections.

I have 3 years experience in computer stuff and can't even get a call back.

what kind of job are you looking for bruh

Yeah finished my degree last year and in the UK

Before you ask my degree is utterly useless but I was an idiot when I was younger and just blindly followed what my friends were doing

stop trying too hard
yeah, put in the work, but dont care about the result
trust that it will all work out
because things always do
then the job chooses you

Post your CV, hide names and whatever

I got a degree in welding but I'm 5'0 so I never get any calls back either. I've been forced to apply for entry level shill jobs and just hoping something snags.

Pro tip, just for you.

Copy the expectations of the job description,
Paste it into the bottom of your resume
Turn the font white so you or employer can't see it

Wala, to all resume crawling software you are the number 1 candidate.

hey aint you the fag thats on your last loaf of bread? why havent you die yet?

Honestly if i was an employer, i would pay almost no mind to the online applications unless the were almost perfect for the job plus a substantial amount more. Trust me on this, if you see places near you that are asking for applicants GO IN A ASK THEM ABOUT THE JOB APPLICATION. Applying to a job in person is 100x better than online.

no exaggeration i found a $10 bill in an old pair of jeans

it was enough to buy eggs bread and potatoes

>apply in person
just stfu boomer

OP please read this:

Google - applicant tracking systems.

This is why you don't get interviews, you must bypass the automated filter first. Every job description has key words that the applicant tracking system looks for in your application and and CV. Missing keywords? Instant rejected seconds after hitting submit.

Learn to identify the keywords and jargon, keyword stuff your application, and BAM... Interviews will flood in.

Btw, I probably can't find it now, but a literal expert in the field applied for a job he could do in his sleep to test these automated systems, and got rejected...

Graduated into a recession and it took me 2 years to find a job in my field, in the meantime I worked as a forklift operator. I only got my job by applying through my school job board that I still had access to even 2 year after graduating. Applying on indeed is a waste of time because they get 1000 responses an hour after posting, it's better to go to company websites and apply directly, or to use google maps, find all companies in your radius and apply to their websites

I should also add at that point I had basically given up on finding a job and gave a half assed interview and got hired lmao, anytime I would takr something seriously I would get nervous and fuck up

Im 24 fuckhead

>The one I accepted (verbally) has been slow as fuck at communicating with me and still haven't sent me a written offer (they said they will next week). I interviewed with them in mid November.
They're going to back out, user. I had this exact same thing happen to me for multiple data science positions. Now I work in construction.

why is the subject called "Indeed apply"? is this english for "job application"? i mean i know the meaning of indeed and apply, but the two together dont make much sense to me in this context

Indeed is the site. Apply means you applied. It's just a short phrasing they chose I guess.

jus b urself :^)

thanks

>being grateful for a minor answer on an indonesian rug trading emporium
you're hired.

I just reentered the job search for my 4th new position, I've sent out 5 applications a day since january 1st and have 2 replies already. I only have an Associates in Mathematics and a decent amount of gung ho.

That's weird, I know a guy who's that height and he has no problem getting a job as a welder. He can't weigh more than 100 lbs either. I think it's the economy more than your height at this point.

great, you're a giga-boomer

the fuck. what's your previous job experience.

suck it up user USA added 350k jobs just in December, just keep searching or lower your standards

and you're fired Rob. It's Bill from work, we had a feeling you were using this site.

you should look into tools which automate the job application process. you should be running a script and applying for 200 jobs a day. doing things manually is choosing to lose.
