I'm about to graduate college with a degree in Marketing this spring but I have had no experience. What kind of jobs can I get and how can I find them?

Oh Christ are you in for a rude awakening.
What uni? What passions? What differentiators?
Vibe is releasing a FPS game on Jan 12th. It looks amazing. Not many people know about it yet. Binance & Vibe marketing campaign will start early Jan. Vibe is down 96% from ATH. Koreans are aggressively accumulating. Get in quick
What was your schooling about? From what I can see the most successful marketers just take udemy courses and make million dollar sales funnels. Look into clickfunnels. You didn't really need to go to school for marketing. Do you produce any content? How much are you in debt:?
>gets marketing degree
>cant market themselves
Kek
>What Uni?
Minnesota State University, Mankato
>What Passions?
N/A
>What differentiators?
I took a minors in Business Administration and Creative Writing
All I want to know really is how you get experience. I didn't do jackshit in college and I have no connections so I don't expect anything good but there must be a starting point
>The most sucessful marketers sell marketing courses
I guess its working huh
>not having internships
not going to make it
get certified w/ google ads and get a job in digital marketing. work for a few years making low to median pay, then within a few years you can make somewhere between 70-100k. Alternatively you can find remote work with a salary of say 40k and you can go live like a kind in the philippines or whatever.
hey fren, I went this route and make more than all my 'genius engineering friends' AMA
How much student loan debt are you graduating with?
His entire "career" is going to be an eternal unpaid internship.
This is the best advice so far
Try learning some web development skills too
What do you do now
you can pass out Redbulls on college campuses
You most likely fell for a meme degree
To earn significant money in Marketing you should have something like a special skill to put you above others
And even then it could be not enough if you arent agressive enough to Beat your competitors
Its almost like a Shark Tank
Find a space you are passionate about. Can read/learn all day and devote your all to. Maybe it’s blockchain. Maybe something else. Get in touch with relevant start ups with low-decent funding (+$300k funding) and experiences founders. Offer to work at a reasonable to low rate with vested equity.
You’ll gain experience more than you could believe and as one of the few marketers on the team you’ll be the focal point for a lot of investor relations/outbound communication/conferences to grow your network in the meantime. As a side benefit if you’re confident in your abilities a smaller team will give you more control and ability to “shine” so to speak if you kick ass.
By the end of it your best case is the company takes off. Worst case you have real world experience in a space you enjoy and can hop on other projects (or even just consult/advise multiple), have a base salary for negotiations, and a better network/team around you. Plus it would look great even if you apply to conventional marketing positions.
No experience? Desu you could spam you applications and get lucky. If not, teacher, military officer, retail management, public sector work, or go get a Masters in Finance from a non meme school
most internships are paid fyi
Start your own business
So you play video games to earn tokens? Wtf is the point of the token though?
