And on top of that all of that money is lent to the government and has to be paid back with interest. That money doesn't of course exist since the government can't print any money and thus they hand to lend even more money to pay the interest.

FED exists so the US government can escape its constitutional limitations on currency-printing and revenue collection. US is due for a collapse but making the pact with the FED delays the collapse for a few decades at best, making it that much worse for ordinary citizens when it does come. Founding Fathers imagined the US as a decentralized country focused on self-defense (hence 2nd Amendment) but right now US is so invested in policing the world that it needs an infinite supply of cash to stay the collapse for just one more day.
