It's moved up a lot this month. A downward correction is not a dump.

It was dump however there are like 240 BTC on the sell side up from 20 a day ago and some set up hundreds of sells from 1700 to 20K sats with around 5M flo in total.

Something is going on and it looks like babies first manipulation.

Sell side BTC is determined by the price of the sell orders and it disregards orders outside of a certain range. For example if most orders were between 1k and 3K sats it would ignore the sell order at 10K sats as there is nothing in between. So in order to increase the sell side you need to make a bunch of orders and by putting a high sell order in at say 20K sats it makes the number of BTC worth on the sell side go up drastically for less FLO than say putting 5 million at 1.7K sats which could also be bought out. It is a very basic manipulation tactic I just can’t see why anyone would bother.

Ok, that makes sense. What is the end effect of this manipulation? Where on Bittrex can a user see this sell-side BTC and these orders?

Presumably to get people to sell. However they might be trying to capitalize on tZero and didn’t realize it was delayed. Or maybe they did and are trying to shake people out. Doesn’t really matter as its low volume and there are no buyers. The person or group in question doesn’t want to sell anything because otherwise they would dump it to 700 sats instead of putting up walls where they have plenty of time to take them down before being bought out.

It’s so much work for so little gain. Whoever is doing this is unreasonably bullish on it or a total fucking moron. Also underneath the sell book are numbers.

It’s likely that large whales who were manipulated into buying the high 1500-2000s now wish to exit before btc slides even further.
