I make that as a Wendy’s chef
fucking where?
me and my bro were looking around to start underwater welding and it was around 90k/year
That job looks extremely dangerous. What happens if you're a thousand feet underwater and the welding torch flame accidentally contacts your diving suit? What if a whale gets tangled in your air hose? What if you get stuck inside a pipe? I would rather sweep and mop floors for a living.
you panic and die
No I just hate the abyss.
Apparently that's a /biz meme.
I've read stories about deep sea welder on reddit (yes). It is super scary and dangerous. It is pitch black down there and there might be stuffs TV don't talk about.
If you can't stand wage cucking anymore perhaps.
It's the sort of job that gives you nightmares.

Can you link the threads?
In the pic you can see the surface reflections relatively close, but anyways, better to have an epic fast death than dying slowly of cancer after a boring life, for example.
Reminder there's all kinds of weird shit in the ocean that man was never meant to encounter

There are other better check on reddit.
Yeah, that's deeper than where human divers operate but I would worry about these things coming up at me from below if were a diver. Giant squid is my biggest fear and those do come up near the surface sometimes.
Nosleep is basically a creepypasta sub, none of it is real
This thread happens at least once a week. It's a bait thread.
Lol its the little red bastard Humboldt squid that you as a diver should be worried about.
Incredibly niche market and likely to be fully automated in literally less than a decade plus training ain't cheap
>Giant squid is my biggest fear
stick to the middle of the pavement, avoiding open windows and Chinese Restaurants. You can get through this, user
300k a year means jack shit if you die from ∆P.
>not being a real man and being a nuclear reactor diver so you get the danger of drowning and radiation poisoning simultaneously
Faggots.
Just don't do anything retarded and you'll be fine
NOW THATS MY KIND OF DIVE JOB!
this
>not being a real man and being a black hole diver and dealing the dangers of being crushed into atomic bits, radiation poisoning, drowning in the space sea and being taken over by creatures of the warp simultaneously
What is it like being a pussy?
lmao floating around some bookshelves and seeing the past, woooow that must be so stressful bro
what if you get an itch on the back of your head that you can't reach?
reddit has the worst fiction writers on the planet
>reddit has the worst on the planet
What if you need to take an emergency liquid shit?
>I would rather mop floors for a living.
What if you slip on a wet floor and crack your skull open?
>floating around some bookshelves
worst scene ever
I worked on a DP2 dive vessel that killed one of our air divers. It happens more often than you think. And when they die, it's horrific. Imagine being along, underwater, in the dark, waiting for your bail out tank to run out, and that's if you're lucky. The one we killed went through the props, the dive super had too much umbilical in the water. He got dragged towards the props, and he knew what was coming. Radio was open the whole time. Minced meat, head first. No body to recover, just debris. Take your Rolex and i8 and I'll take dying in my bed many years from now
Underwater welding is completely hyped up by the schools. You'll get suckered into some year long course that costs tons of money, with them reassuring you the loans will be paid back this time next year because of the high salaries. You'll graduate and realize that you may be able to weld, but you don't have nearly enough hours underwater for anybody to hire you.
I used to do some professional diving, while I did not weld I was around a lot of them. Your hours under water count more than welding experience. It's better to take a guy with 100's of hours of diving experience and teach him how to weld in a couple months on the company's dime.
If you really want to get into professional diving, your probably better off joining a military branch as a diver and learning a majority of the skills without any debt. "Hurr durr I don't want to get blown up fighting for jew's oil", you realize just how dangerous diving is? Military is actually safer.
Kinda hard to illustrate 4D though.
Yeah my brother did this and burnt out in a year.
The ones making 300k are saturation divers and last I heard there is only like 250 of them in the entire world.

And I'm in the top 350 link holders.

The spiritual superiority which formerly divided and created hostility now tends to unite: how could the individual keep himself aloft and, against every current, swim along his own course through life if he did not see here and there others of his own kind living under the same conditions and take them by the hand, in struggle against both the ochlocratic character of the half-spirited and the half-educated and the attempts that occasionally occur to erect a tyranny with the aid of the masses? The oligarchs have need of one another, they have joy in one another, they understand the signs of one another -- but each of them is nonetheless free, he fights and conquers in his own place, and would rather perish than submit.
don't give it to him, he doesn't deserve her nudes. make him pay for it, he already told you how much he makes
