You fail to realize that the coupling of BTC to alts reflects upon the perceived value of all crypto currency. The dollar amount is neglegible at this point because of the lack of use case. We're speculating here on something that is on the cusp of delivering ACTUAL VALUE, which will in effect bring value to the rest of all crypto. That is how important this is.
