"Shrimp is the most preferred seafood in the world. The average American consumes 4-6lbs of it per year, yet the U.S. imports over 90% of their shrimp. With so much imported, where do we come in?"
I bought 4 tanks worth about 350 dollars when this meme started, I bought another massive tank for 400 dollars they I never even collected from the store. I've left it so many months now that probs don't even still have it, so that's just money I pisses away. Hold me frens.
there's a farm close to my door, Flanders, far from sea 110KM and they do turn a nice penny..

I just recently learned that when you eat shrimp, they more often than not have a long piece of shit still inside them. You're apparently supposed to cut them in half and take the turd out of your body before you eat them
I've been eating shrimp shit all these years. I refuse to eat shrimp anymore after learning that.
Brayden Young
Are you buying fresh prawns still shelled? Most prawns you but come cleaned where I am. You'll know if you've eaten the shit because you'll feel a bit of grit on your teeth.
Gavin Morgan
Wait, so that's not like Shrimp Roe I've been eating?
Brayden Lopez
The black line along their backs is poop. Butterfly the shrimp before eating them to remove it, shelled shrimp will have poop in them.
Lincoln Turner
Who fucking cares, I mean it’s better without but you eat shit constantly esp if eating muscles or clams (they are brothed in buttery garlic poop) , also it’s just one tract so not even tech shit
James Rodriguez
So how much money do I need to get started and actually turn a profit?
Brandon Cruz
Shit is not some mysterious alien toxic substance. It's just plant matter that went through their digestive system and is void of color and nutrients. It's pretty much plant matter. No biggie.
Those look like shrimp for hobby tanks, not for food.
Eli Powell
Shrimp generals? What is this, 2019?
Nathan Wood
My puppy mill was more profitable this year so I decided to turn off my freshwater shrimp pods Might convert the old tanks into terreraums for mushrooms fruiting
Gavin Kelly
you guys will never learn the nuptial secrets to breeding the shrimps.
If you have the space, might as well breed dogs. Bitches love dogs.
Zachary Price
yeah. good luck with the noise and your neighbors
Levi Perez
i tried this but then i fell in love with my shrimps so now i have pet shrimps instead of a business
Camden Bell
Probably just gets their noise box removed at the same time their tails get clipped
Xavier Bell
i fucking love you, biz, for turning me on to shrimp farming. my wife and 7 children have finally got a secure financial future
Daniel Campbell
Congrats man, seriously
Isaiah Sanders
>noise and your neighbors the noise isn't too bad honestly, and what neighbours? we breed them on a 20 acre farm.
>noise box removed lol no >their tails get clipped that's pretty much the standard for dogs now nobody is going to buy shit from you if all they get is blood marks on the wall its better to clip them when they are puppies then a life full of pain (no dogs can't control their tail wiggle and will hurt themselves)
Jason Peterson
my dog with a very long and functioning tail disagree with clipping tails. maybe, you're just a bad dog breeder?
Aiden Adams
>this pic It looks like a 5 stars palace for fortuned shrimps. How are you supposed to make money with such fancy individual glass tanks with lil decorative plants, coral, shells, and painted rocks? And what's about those lamps? It's not a fucking luminotherapie center, just keep them in the dark. It's not a fucking thalassotherapy for rich shrimps ffs, you are supposed to make CASH user! Use giant hard plastic 800L trash cans with a basic bubbler and here you are. Also why do you have 2 shrimps per tank? Just pajeetize them and put 300 shrimps per tank.
you can get 3-4k pounds of shrimp per acre of pond. That's a harvest worth about 50k. That's 1 harvest per acre per year. 3 acres of pond and after overhead and you're making 6 figures a year.
Kayden Rogers
You could be making close to 1 mil per year shrimp farming.
Jaxon Hernandez
I thought we were supposed to make our shrimp comfy so they would grow big and strong...
John Stewart
Will you use REQ to track each shrimp from birth to delivery?
Blake Davis
>carnists in 2019 literally ok with eating SHIT
vegans are crazy though. Enjoy your carcasses, shit blood and rotting guts you disgusting, unethical fucks.
Brandon Ramirez
is this a meme or for real? Can you really make that much from shrimp farming? Give us a quick rundown
