do it
Why? Do you even like cars?
who said u shouldnt?
Well, if you don't already have a decent amount of savings and investments then it's a bad idea since it's a depreciating asset. But if you do have a good amount of savings and investments then by all means go ahead. Just make sure you get a good financing plan.
what happens if u lose ur job or become disabled
What’s your net worth? $250k a year doesnt mean shit if your bank account is in the 5 digits
Buying a lambo is basically fashion scape
You should be using that money to flip and invest in the GE
What you're doing is xp waste in real life
Yes I love cars and have wanted a Lamborghini since forever
Everyone I've talked to
I won't. I work as a doctor so unless I kill a patient on purpose my job is pretty secure.
I have no money in my bank account but I own my house which is worth about $800k
fucking do it
Wouldn't saving money be XP waste? We all gonna die someday, might as well enjoy life specially since I'm young still?
buy a 300k piece of property instead.
What type of doc? Who are you trying to impress?
You can have fun with a 10k car. Doesn't make sense to buy a 300k car unless you are making millions a year.
Lower level people at the hospital might resent you. I would never drive it to work. Thats the thing about these kinds of cars, they open you up to jealos assholes who want to fuck with your shit
ER. I'm not trying to impress anyone I've always wanted a V10 twin turbo or V12 Italian supercar
We have our own parking garage so no one at my job will know
There are far better cars you could buy and for a fraction of the cost. You are def buying it for the image mate, give your head a shake.
Just lease it. Devaluation and maintenance will fuck your little butthole.
I beg to differ. The only cheaper sports car that has a V10 would be a Viper and it doesn't sound as good since it doesn't rev as high. Also the Huracan is very reliable, this is my only car and will be my daily.
Get an old Ferrari F430 for under 100k so you don't lose your shirt in depreciation when you get bored of it in 2 months
Just get a 911
If you're bent on a v10 the Audi r8 would be a more reasonable option too
Have you ever rented luxury sports cars?
It's a lot cheaper to rent all the coolest cars and take them on a track to get your fix than it is to buy one
That car has a V8 and the only ones that are under $100k have the slushbox single clutch automatic. If I did buy an F430 I would get the manual
Literally everyone of my friends has a 911. It's so played out and boring
buy an A7 and invest in rental properties kid
I already owned an R8. It was too tame. Felt like any other Audi honestly. And want it for a daily driver
Get a Ferrari f12 from 2015 or something for 200k
Buying a new lamborghini is a meme
Mate you have already made up your mind.
Just rent it occasionally on weekends. You will probably stop doing that within few months after it loses the novelty effect for you.
There, just saved you like 290k.
He just wants attention. That’s why he won’t get a 911.
If it makes you happy, go for it. It's likely that the novelty wears off in 6 months and it ends up costing you a fortune to insure and maintain.
>I have no money in my bank account but
You are hood rich then. You shouldn’t be paying for that lambo, your money should be paying for that lambo. Save up 3 years salary then come back.
user that's an image car and would be an absolute shit DD.
There are faster cheaper cars out there
Why don't you get a superbike instead for a tenth of the price?
Liberty, Freedom, and Possibilities
Why the fuck would you want to spend $300k on a car when a $30k car can do the exact same job (even better).
Honestly...
cant tell if bait or people like you are actually this autistic. Or maybe you just haven't driven anything other than a corolla
The rule is this: don't spend more than 10% of your gross income on a car. So your limit should be 25k
Maybe buy a second hand one, 5 to 8 years old. Bargain a bit so you get it just under market value hopefully, some rich persons usually needs to liquidate their assets to pay for unexpected shit. Have a year worth of fun in it, and by that time you can guage whether or not you would get extra enjoyment and personal (non dollar) value from a brand new late model one. If so, sell the second hand one at a smallish loss, if not, well youve already saved a huge amount of money going for the second hand one which will have a smaller depreciation gradient anyway since the first owner absorbed the brunt of the drive away value loss. Hope this helps mate :)
Get some consistency in your larping you stupid nigger, I saw you on /o/ today saying you already had the car.
I also highly support this view
If the Lambo is 1% of your net worth it's ok. You're fucking broke though and you're wanting to dump $300k into something instead of working that $300k and leasing the car. Fucking idiot.
Defo do it. Very fitting for an ER/surgical doc. Having said that, I was most envious of one of my orthopaedic consultant’s Harley Davidson here in the UK.
And we found our juden, gents
It sounds like you have your shit together. You own an 800k house for christ's sakes. You're allowed to indulge yourself.
he's basically right though: the most extreme ones don't even cost much. if the experience of insane speeds is what you're after, your best bet is an ~18.000$ (factory new) motorcycle that will accelerate faster than any lambo and make the same speed feel twice as fast due to everything being completely open
he won't save 95% though, because he's probably a pussy that would fear the lack of safety and/or be unable to actually handle it
How old are you op?
Actually the Lamborghini accelerates much faster than the bike because bikes have traction issues and if you accelerate too quickly the front comes up. Also a car can pull far more lateral G's due to having four wheels.
I used to ride until I got the money to buy fast cars. I see at least 1 motorcycle accident everyday in the ER. It's not a matter of if you will crash and become seriously injured, it's when. Especially if you do a lot of track days. Sure most of the time you just slide but it only takes one time for someone to run you over of you to high side or whatever and you're dead. Gear can only do so much
After owning a fast car I don't miss riding a bike at all.
>lambo accelerates faster than a bmw hp4
Topkek senpai no chance
insurance will probably bitch when they see it
if you don't have any money in your account then why are you even considering this
i'd save up at least 1.5x the cost of the car before buying it
Why don't rich people just lease luxury cars? That way you can swap it out for something different instead of getting stuck with just that one nice car. Leasing may be dumber in the long run financially but you're rich and you're just looking for a nice car to drive around.
Maybe you haven't user. I've driven heaps of other peoples fancy cars and got over it before I could think about buying my own, I find no extra appeal, the comfort or enjoyment just seems like a meme to me, there is not any gains. One thing though that economy cars don't offer is a rifle bolt precision shift, but modern sports don't even feature an H pattern anyway so it's even worse. The only true purpose there can be is to appear rich, but in my country success is frowned upon so all that can happen is people talk shit and conspire behind your back, there is zero gain.
female/soiboi detected
Wrong. Females and the sois have no discipline, these are exactly the fags who will finance low end 'luxury' to satisfy muh feelings. These vehicles are literally of inferior performance and quality to lower cost competitors, the retards will pay more on purchase, tax and maintenance because they think people look at them and literally believe they were in the elite club. This is even worse than high end which even though there is not practical purpose the higher grade elements do at least exist on the machine. If you see anybody driving low or even mid tier european you can bet money that they are a literal poofter and are on a 5 year payment plan trying to buy self worth.
because you can't afford it retard
I think OP is trying to rp as Doctor Strange.
know how I know you're black?
>Females and the sois have no discipline, these are exactly the fags who will finance low end 'luxury' to satisfy muh feelings.
they are also the same kind of fags who think a Corolla is the same as a Mclaren.
unless you wanna live in a small house you cant afford it.
In practice it is the same, what I am telling you before is there are no practical gains from the McLaren. It is built with special materials and engineering that costs more money yes, but also there is no purpose for doing that. I am not a woman and I don't even put soi sauce on chinese food, these are merely the true facts that you need to cope with.
What's your net worth OP? Without 3 million liquid, don't do it.
>doesnt like R8 because its too tame
>buying a rebadged R8
>not just buying a R8 then add some custom exhaust if you want the noise
go to /o/ and let them laugh at you
even though they're nothing but a bunch of sour poorfags they see through that bullshit
I make $5k per year if I'm lucky. Living the dream.
Smart post :)
i wonder how an idiot like you manages ton make 200K/year
your a peasant and you want to buy a 300$k car, lol
This right here is why the west is debt fucked and in decline
OP listen to me
lease the car that way you can get this desire out of your system. once you've had it for a year, the novelty will wear off, you can sell it. you also don't want to buy a sportscar that becomes ugly and untrendy 2 years after.
these cars are expensive as fuck to maintain, like $20k-40k is routine. they're for people who can afford to buy a new one every year.
if you even have to ask yourself if you can afford it, you can't. if you even have to think about maintenance costs in your budget, you can't afford it.
get a GTR or something, that's much closer to your budget.
because that's 120% of your annual income and you're losing money.
>Me like fast car go fast. It go vroom turn good and get speed go nicely! ;]
this
OP is a fag with no taste
Fucking idiot dont buy this shitty meme car you’ll be paying a fuckload for repair costs and gas ontop of initial cost. Buy a completely maxed out tesla model s p100d for a 1/3 of the cost of a scambo and never pay for gas again. Its has same 0-60 and similar top speeds, self drive and is one of the safest cars.
Depreciating asset
user I did the same mistake you might be pursuing, it gets boring after 2 months even if you have friends to hang out with and it gets even more depressing once you have a girlfriend. There will just be a point that you don't care as much as you did before you had gotten the car, unless $300k is merely 20% of your savings then you should get it.
You could get in an accident on the way home from the dealership where the car needs minor repairs but you shatter all the bones in your hands and break your legs. No other car was involved, you just drive like shit. How are you going to make $250k a year now?
On second thought, just get it. If your're not smart enough to see why you shouldn't, this will teach you that lesson.
>you're'r'e're
This. BMW S1000RR. Bike is plenty fast and will smoke 99% of cars out there.
>be not german
>buy fast car
>not allowed to drive fast
Loses half its value the moment you leave the caryard. Buy a 2nd hand mint one for 150k instead. Boom.
Guess what moron? Compounding interest and leverage is how the Jews got their money in the first fucking place. Enjoy plateauing and never growing your wealth. He can still enjoy the 10 year old's toy car by leasing it, you can be lavish but don't be reckless.
My dad works as a pediatric doc. Has been one for over 30 years. Never bought a new car until about eight years ago.
Focused on safety, reliability, depreciation and insurance cost (mix the last two and gas for a per mile cost). Bought Fords mostly, then Honda and Subaru. Has millions saved up for retirement and unforeseen expenses. Able to help support multiple other siblings and his kids if something comes up.
Lives in a not so grand one story house with a basement that is fully paid off.
His focus isn't on finances, but smart financial spending allows him from being caught up in the "buy all the nice things" mentality I've seem so many doctors fall prey to. I'm surprised at how many doctors have relatively little savings with money in illiquid assets and some being stuck in unexpected debt after having a severe medical or malpractice issue that keeps them from continuing work.
I agree that renting and getting your fix in on occasion is the best approach. Save up money and when you have a cool million in liquid assets, then look into it. Also, pay off your house.
Smart about avoiding motorcycles. I've heard a good number of ER stories from when my dad and his doc buddies moonlighted there. 18 Wheelers and motorcycles are a dedly combo. Really, motorcycles in general.
*deadly, not dedly.
>Why shouldn't I do this?
Because you make $250k a year after taxes. You are working one full year for a car. For a doctor, you seem to be quite dumb for not realising supercars are meant for people who make 500k/yr min
It's pissing money away on decadent status objects with no lasting value or purpose.
Instead of pissing money away on consumption, you could save for a few years and open many opportunities such as:
- Financial independence
- Having cash on hand for opportunities like a probable stock market crash
- Assets that have a better return on quality of living, such as a luxury home
get a porsche
Lok what? You do realize that the R8 and Hurracan are basically the same car, right? Why are you larping?
Cause you should never buy a car you can't afford cash! Its a depreciation asset! More of liability!
This
protip: go to a car auction and buy a 2010-2011 lambo for ~100k
they won't be beat to shit like most used cars because they're all owned buy carfags
>t. owner of several jaguars bought at car auctions
I make 140k€ a year before taxes and could only afford an audi a3
yes, good goy!
spend 300K on this over-engineered and extremely expensive to repair/maintain car!
do it, my insurance company can not wait any longer!
Based and scapepilled
>buying old ferrari which will break down at any moment
Sounds like a retard. You don't love cars, you want status. Get a used lambo for 1/3 of the price or actually get a decent retro car. Hell even get a bmw i8. Buying a lambo is retarded and people will look at you as a poor fag for not getting a new bugati instead.
You're mr. moneybags, right? can't afford a $1,000,000 car? You make $300,000 sucking dick a year right? Why are you poor. Why are you buying a poor person's car?
Aight, just know that Lambo's are a bitch to maintain.
Rent it for a week.
Sit inside of it in your garage.
Realize it's just another car.
Then buy a Tesla.
and then realise your electrical bills have shot up
Why not buy a Nissan gtr nismo?
do it pussy
i make around the same and have been using a 2011 bmw335 as my daily. not too flashy and it's fun to drive. no major issues besides water pump. will probably keep it as long as possible.
