Thinking of moving to thailand

Anons, i need your advice.

Here is my situation:

-Brazilian
-Have a very stable job that not pay too well
-Day trade in the brazilian future market before go to work
- My income is 50/50 wageslave and day trade
-I have 400k in brazilian shekels (around $110k).
-I see that a lot of europeans and americans retire young in cheap countries like thailand.

I'm sick and tired of wageslaving and i'm thinking in moving to thailand (pattaya or bangkok) and try living on day trading only,

Anyone here made this choice? Any advice?

Por que Tailandia?

-Cheap
-No niggers

As a 26 yr old American expat living in Pattaya for the past 3 yrs all I can say is it's the best "investment" I've ever made. I make enough in dividends and other passive income to live indefinitely in Thailand. I will say though, after a few years you get used to it but you kind of get sick of it as well, thinking of trying out eastern europe.

Also... watching youtube vids seems like all thai people can understand english (even broke english like mine) and look likes a nice place to a single man to have fun

Do you regret your decison?
How much do you spend per month?

Do you feel sick of asian culture or the place? maybe you can try kuala lampur

T. 25 yr old american
How much money do you need to move/live in thailand? I have 11k in the bank and another 2k in crypto, I have never traveled outside of the USA and I have no idea where to start, but I know I want to at least go there for a few months.

>a nice place to a single man to have fun
and this is basically the only good reason to go to thailand, to have "fun". I lost my virginity here and honestly I'm kind of attached but also sick of it at the same time. There is something odd about not having to work for your "kill" so to speak. I guess I'm missing the rewarding aspect of picking up a woman, when they literally walk up to you it takes the fun out of it but your so excited about a girl walking up to you and striking the convo first you forget about what it means to be the predator and you just accept it. Thailand is an over all weird place dude...fun but weird.

>Do you regret your decison
sometimes...it's difficult to explain
I love it here but sometimes I hate it..
>How much do you spend per month
about 5k, I'm pretty frugal lately.
> kuala lampur
out of my budget sorry
>How much money do you need to move/live in thailand?
Like I said before I make enough in passive income to stay here as long as I want but I spend about 5k a month and the main reason it isn't tremendously high is because I bought a condo a year ago at the marina golden bay because I convinced myself I would be living in thailand for awhile...I'm having regrets tho

Yeah i can relate to you... because in brazil is not that difficult to have sex... but i'm not talking about sex only... thailand appears to have some sort of "tourism infrastructure" that allow to people to travel alone.. here in brazil if you are drinking alone in a bar you are a creep

Nigger, you live in brazil with one of the hottest chicks and the biggest sluts on the world.

why do you want go to thailand?

Seems like every "single" expat has regrets when they move abroad especially to a non-english speaking country. Even those that move to Japan or Korea. If you move with your wife it might be different, but I guess it just boils down to always being alienated so it's not worth long term in the end.

5k a month is frugal?

he mean 5000 baht

for ME it's frugal
I don't know what kind of life you want to live but you if you want to live in some mud hut outside of pattaya, go for it dude be my guest
but I enjoy living in my condo next to the city center and going out to eat and drink every night
I also got addicted to Yaba and it's been making me feel off lately.

5k dolars a month you can live like a king in thailand... but with your experience do you think 2k is enough?

Also these bitches in pic are ugly...

bro i lived 2 years in thailand already and i loved it

i want buy this year a condo in pattaya, too.

but why do you regret it now?

Thailand seems violence-free unlike brazil
Yes brazilians women are sluts but also ugly (mutt or niggers)

if you don't drink or do drugs I think you can make 2k work but idk for sure
as for the bitches being ugly, beauty is in the eye of the beer holder friend...and I'll leave it at that
for as little as 15k you can BUY yourself a very nice condo in Thailand. I know for a fact the Marina Golden Bay sells relatively cheap condos to expats wanting to settle here in Pattaya.

I spent a few weeks in Thailand and asked myself the same question when I came back home. I researched and concluded that you need at least $2000 a month to live comfortably. Of course you can get by with far less but then what's the point of merely existing without having fun? You're going to want a girlfriend and to travel occasionally. My estimate is at least $800,000 USD if you want to stay there for at least 40 years without any additional income.

>800k
crazy high
you're insane dude..

My wife is Thai. We're planning on making a few million in the states then retiring in Thailand in our 40s or 50s.

I don't think it's much cheaper than in the states though. Sure, the food/rent is cheaper, but things that actually cost money cost the same (tech, cars, etc).

Instead of moving to Thailand you can just cook your own food and use public transportation... then it's basically the same thing in terms of savings.

>he married a sex slave
YIKES

$200 a month... how can you afford pussy on that kind of budget?

Thailand isn’t cheap at all.

Still cheap as fuck for that amount of time compared to rest of the world.

I disagree. Although I have never been I have done enough research to know 2k is pissing money away in Thailand.
Rent is 120$ in Chiang rai. Even including visa runs, how exactly is food, WiFi, utilities going to cost 1800$ in a 3rd world country?

It’s not. At that level you are getting multiple coffees and lunch at cafes daily, pizza and beer at a western place daily. How many wage slaves live like that in the states? Personally I buy all food at a grocery store and get dominos pizza once a week. I get coffee at work but when I’m remote I don’t go out to buy shit at all.

800 is living like a comfy white girl, aka going to cafes, restaurants, bar once a week etc. 600 is very doable for frugal neets.

>Yaba
please tell me this is a joke. why the fuck are you taking that garbage ? what the fuck kek

>Yaba
Yaba, otherwise known as the madness drug or Nazi speed, is a combination of a number of stimulants. The two main substances that make up the drug are caffeine and methamphetamine, otherwise known as crystal meth. Yaba is a drug in tablet form, and it is most often red in color with the letters WY imprinted on it

WOT

You’re larping right? If not, stop taking yaba immediately before it’s too late.

5k usd a month?
