Redpill me on link

If that shit hits 1k I will have to wear the smelliest and most disgusting clothes I can find. Two different kind of used shoes and plastic bags.
This is my future.

>How do we avoid being a lottery winner?
what do you mean

Always bet on the memes

I actually have no Idea. Don't want to enter a dying stock market and don't want to buy the very top of the real estate bubble.

Unless I'm a fucking dipshit (which is a possibility), he's referring to how most lottery winners end up being complete brainlets and somehow manage to spend away the millions they end up with.

Pay cash. Don't aquire new debt. Purchase assets and not liabilities. Don't buy stupid shit.

well i think most of us here consider 1k is a meme, and are unprepared for such an events. What on earth are you going do with such an immense wealth? Not all of us are borned into wealth, and would probably have no clue or discipline when your life suddenly changed.

Investing in LINK in the first place means you're smart enough with money to not have to worry about that shit. Of course I'm gonna hire a professional accountant, and I'll be thrifty when it comes to extravagant spending: for instance, I'll only have 2 cars at any one time. and they won't be fucking Lambos.

Surely I can't be the only one that thinks the solution is very simple? Just invest your link profits into index funds and live off the dividends. Passive income for life!

>won't be fucking Lambos.
lame

>How do we avoid being a lottery winner?
Don't tell people about ur wealth. People will want to rob or sue you if they know ur rich.
Assume any millionaire yacht party invitations are assassins or abductors, same with Jow Forums meet ups.
Buy a homestead and assuming you don't throw wild fucking partys and spend money on fancy ass food all the time or other copious amouts of frivolous shit you should avoid becoming a once was millionaire.
Also reinvesting a portion of your money earned not bad strategy too.

>Investing in LINK in the first place means you're smart enough with money
Hmm!!!

>or sue you
wtf? sue for what? being rich? lol

>wait until LINK goes down into the 30s
>buy as much as I can
>sell when it gets above 44 and levels out
>put everything into Tron since it's more stable than BTC
>Rinse and repeat.
How janky and retarded is my strat?

Ever heard of patent trolls? It's the same type of thing.
And if you live in the US you can get sued for anything. You can get sued for looking at someone weird, it has nothing to do with law.

>reinvesting a portion of your money earned not bad strategy too
Most if not all should be invested...just go with the holy trinity of investments: stocks, bonds, real estate.

Why not just DCA into link and hold? Why over complicate stuff?

I find it hard to believe I can sue a person just because he/she is wealthy...there has to be more to the story

Honestly I'm starting with very little seed money so I'm trying to make as much as I can swing trading before I put it all in LINK and hold.

Since a lot of /biz doesn’t seem to get why having lots of money is a problem, read this:
reddit.com/r/AskReddit/comments/24vzgl/you_just_won_a_656_million_dollar_lottery_what_do/

Almost all of these problems become non-existent if one doesn't associate with people in the first place. Introverts like myself already have this luxury.

lottery winners are something like 10x more likely to be murdered

10x 0.0000000001%

Relax newfags. We're only halfway through the bear market and there are still another 650M more LINK out there waiting to enter circulation. Even at current circ supply a 10x from here would put it into the top 10. How much more upside do you really think there is?

link doesn't give a flying shit about bear markets as already demonstrated
when LINK becomes the only crypto to produce real world value it decouples from BTC and pumps to #1 flippening king shitcoin

Well obviously they aren't gonna make the point in court that they're suing you because your rich.
It will be setting up vehicle collisions, household accidents, a problem with your business, claiming you molested their child, they'll find a reason.

Im pretty sure this was discussed numerous time regarding the circulation, most of the links will soon be locked away in staking so this will limit the circulation. Plus im only interest in people opinions now, considering it is at a low price so most answers will probably be genuine regardless if they are helpful or not rather than later when scammers start appearing.

Your forgetting the good old "pretend to be pushed down the stairs" technique.

Thot literally tried this on a mate of mine a couple weeks ago

he's just saying it puts a target on your back, since you have funds to liquidate.

>well i think most of us here consider 1k is a meme

> He fell for the meme meme

Buy more link. If it goes and grows that fast... then it will keep doing so. 2k EOY 2020
3.5K EOY 2021

Holy shit this thread is infested with newfags

Absolutely disgusting to realize these reddit normies are starting to curiously lurk biz and post these retarded questions about link

That pretty much my plan. What’s the best course of action if it does hit 1k. Should I just withdraw it all and put it all into my bank account? I know FDIC only covers up to 250k but it should be safe for a day or two while I set up my brokerage account right?

This is why I recommend ghosting society, don't associate with anyone

I would imagine calling your bank first to let them know you have a large amount of money you want to deposit...otherwise they will think you are laundering money. Also have all your current and previous tax information ready so that you have a paper trail that proves your investments/earnings are all legitimate.

This

this, right here. Live off those dividends and passive earnings while relaxing by your koi pond.

this.
here is a real question: what happens when link hits $10 and tons of people want to cash out. what is your exit strategy? does coinbase still only allow for 2BTC withdrawal a day or some shit?

You buy gold and silver faggot not (((investments))) and lose it all after you make it.

I'm planning to go OTC through IndRes. Hopefully they'll support LINK by then, but if not then I'll use BTC.

I thought link was the whole point of this?

Fair point, selling OTC will probably be done through a smart contract.

Threw up a little reading this.

Implying chainlink will be worth 350b between the technology and inteinsic value just goes to show how autistic you retards are. Thatd be like the 4th biggest company in the US you fucking idiots.

The above thread is evidence of mass hysteria. Reminds me of the bull run when people were all talking about buying lambos. Would love to hear from those guys.

This. Sell half of your position when LINK reaches BigMac parity.

>what is speculation

It will be used worldwide. You fucking dolt.

>I'll only have 2 cars at any one time. and they won't be fucking Lambos.
t. have driven a Gallardo, was massively unimpressed. Better cars are out there. On my list of Link-funded cars are a Jensen Interceptor, Alfa Romeo SZ and a Lancia Delta Integrale Evo 2

>he fell for the marketcap meme
>he doesn't know a large chunk of supply will be locked into nodes
>he doesn't think the internet is used outside of burger land
>he actually thinks there won't be a smart contract bubble/mania phase
Highest of keks

He means how to avoid being a nigger

Lambos are for normie brainlets, true patrician choice is an rx7, gtr or a supra

>Jensen Interceptor

How is that doing for you. Link pumps so hard

You dumb fucks are talking about luxury cars and LINK is still $.40. you should kys.

Its a risky strategy, many anons have been burned by selling early. Accumulate more Fiat or start starving for your Link

That's a powerful statement.

Bad advice and this is why people lose money

>Become millionaire
>Maintain same lame lifestyle

$0 EOM. Cope harder.

I know a millionaire and he only ever wears sandals. He travelled the world (still does) and only ever never travelled to cold places because of this.

Rich people are fucking weird. You might be joking about that comment but I wouldn't doubt if it actually comes true.

My spending habits are fucking terrible. I love beautiful things. I love beautiful clothes and furniture. Doesn't necessarily have to be designer but beautiful or antique pieces I covet greatly.

if I really do make it with LINK I'll probably pay for financial advice, because I just know I could easily blow all of it on luxuries for myself.
perhaps I would allocate 1-10% for frivolous spending like this, and the rest, lock up according to whatever my financial advisor tells me to do.
I might unironically give half to my mother as well to manage, because she is financially very smart and sensible.

GTFO reddit

make a plan for you and your family - like paying yourself an addintional monthly salary, expensive things should be discussed with the whole family (wife and kids).

this. fpbp.

Have a plan.

The second those tokens move they become part of circulating supply and will contribute toward market cap. Cope all you want but that whatever the market cap is on CMC that's the market cap even if 90% is being held in nodes. LINK is still a good investment compared to other cryptos (which are all dog shit) but you're deluded if you think it's going over $5 in the next few years.

Nice fud.

Nobody buying now will make it anyway. Only the poorest of newfags believe this can get to $10+

>Investing in LINK in the first place means you're smart enough with money

This is what LINK teenagers actually believe.

go back

> Chainlink is valued at 0.47 per token, exactly the same as now. all 1 billion tokens enter circulation immediately. The price per token does not change. the mcap is now $470000000 making it the 4th biggest cryptocurrency after XRP.

how the fuck is this a bad thing you retard

I'm actually more qualified to talk about this than most anons.I'm employed with a cyber-techno machinations company, I do a lot of security analyst programming type work. Open source, decentralized, APIs, partnerships, you name it. We'd be one of the first companies in line for something like Chainlink, if the decentralized smart contract space had more value over traditional data exchanges. There's a catch though, an underlying flaw more deeply embedded in the bedrock of LINK than the very code itself. The flaw is with the concept, and it's this: Companies won't actually go through the hassle of trusting their data API's through crypto.
Now I can already hear your keyboards going frantic, but hear me out. Jow Forums hates banks, and traditional data providers. But actual companies, businesses, and investors do not. There's an old saying you might have heard of: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!". The idea that any of our bosses would give us the go ahead if we approached them to put our companies valuable data in a smart contract on a cryptocurrency called Chainlink, that they've never heard of, we'd be laughed out at best and fired on the spot at worst. We already have API data buyers and providers we trust.

'But Chainlink is trustless!' I hear you cry, but is that really a good thing? Just listen to the sound of it. Businesses don't want to spend millions of dollars on something that is trustLESS, they want something trustFUL. 'But the reputation system!', doesn't that defeat the whole point of your coin? If companies only trust nodes with high reputation, what's the difference between trusting banks and data providers that already have reputation, but in real life not on a computer screen.

The fact is, LINK is going to share the same fate as ETH will. A lot of 'real world application' hype, with a lot of 'crypto world application' reality. Only, this billion supply coin isn't going to come close to the $1k that Ethereum hit. Happy gambling though anons.

Btc was 325 billion at peak. Room for 10x still so 3.25 trillion. Link will be around that also. So 325$ is conservative, $3250 is inevitable.

twitter.com/sergeynazarov/status/965781130539511809

luckily, the link moon will coincide perfectly with the housing crash

>massive dilution of the token supply is good
Biz never fails to amaze me with its financial illiteracy

lottoexposed.com/9-poorest-lottery-winners/

Do you really believe this
I've thought about it too, because coupling with "established" crypto just means there's a consensus about those cryptos being a standard.
Such a scenario looks too good to be true
I won't mind though

this is the prophecy of Kek, and the begining of the 4th industrial revolution, one day LINK will be the foundation of a world reserve currency.
