How Would You Become Financially Independent?

We're going to play a hypothetical game. Your goal is to become financially independent with the following stats:

- You start the game with $60,000 in a checking account.
- 32 years old, white male, strongfat build, not a manlet. (You can lift heavy objects with ease and run long distances yet you are 250 lbs.)
- You have a loving gf that will never leave / cheat on you and is always reliable whom you can't have kids with.
- No education.
- No skills.
- No employment, but a history of 13 years in retail grocery.
- You have the ability to be fully rested after 3-5 hours of sleep and can stay up 48 hours straight without suffering fatigue thanks to a genetic mutation.
- Overall you are healthy. No drugs, no smoking, no alcohol.

The rules are as follows:
- No being a criminal / breaking the law.
- No doing anything real estate related.
- No doing anything blockchain / cryptocurrency related.
- Must pertain to America, no leaving the country.

Well Jow Forums, what do you do to become financially independent?

>guys pls tell me how I can become rich

To add:

- Yearly expenses for all bills and food are $8130 and cannot go lower.
- You do not currently own a cell phone, but have a top of the line gaming PC.
- You own a car that can drive you about 10 miles back and forth but going over this in a single trip will destroy it, so no long distance driving.

Starting the game with $60,000 to see where people would invest it if they can't do real estate or block chain. :^)

fuck off faggot

Should I lower the starting bankroll? Or raise it?

Honestly if you have 60K to spare might as well dump 10K into P3D at pic related ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Find something you can learn (construction, tiling, tape/mud drywall, plumbing, electrician, cleaning, moving, etc.), find out what it takes to get a job doing it. Figure out everything you need to do, need to go to school? need to get an apprenticeship? just do it.

Once you have that figured out, find a job with someone in that field and work there for a few years.
Once you're confident you know the business well enough, start your own business doing it yourself. Market that shit, flyers, coupons, tape signs to posts n shit, go all out because it's your livelihood. When you can't keep up with the work, hire people to work with you. Keep hiring people and expanding and taking on more work.
Stay away from drug addicts and unreliable people (or have a big pool of them on-call so you can call them in if one doesn't show up). Be willing to train unskilled workers so you can pay them less.

When enough extra income comes available, hire a secretary or manager to keep track of jobs, assigning them to people, take calls, etc, so you don't have to.
Keep it up for awhile until you hire people to do all the work you were doing and you have enough extra income coming in to pay for all your expenses.

It could take 5 years, it could take 20, or it might not ever happen, and it's a lot of work, but that's one way to do it.

Yeah the commercial is AIDS but they've got way too many Mexican couponer moms to ever die no matter how many males boycott their products.

Become a truck driver and travel the country with your girl, save like 80% of your checks. Liquidate everything until you're ready to settle down except for the gaming rig.

Oof, a tradesman on Jow Forums, that's rare.

Self driving trucks eliminated your job of truck driving, so you are now 45 years of age with the same stats as before, except now you're weak-obese from being stationary for 13 years of driving. (Continue or start over.)

> no real estate investment
> no reducing your budget
Makes it tough, these were my first two suggestions.

Ok to do this as quickly as possible, and seeing as you can't house hack, get into software. First learn sql then python by doing a project or two. Start contracting on the side. The gf should as well. Keep living expenses small and invest every spare penny in VTSAX.

With a 8k yearly expenses, you'd need about 200k invested for minimal FIRE. Off the cuff, if you both earn 50k in software, that's like 70k net minus 8k expenses, 62 a year. We're looking at three years only unless I'm doing my math wrong.

im a lazy tech fag, but i spent 4 years in school to get to where i am and it's not the best path to FI, just higher paying wagecucking. At least with trades I can see it's relatively easy to start a business and grow it as long as you're not retarded and willing to do the hard work.
With tech ive been looking for business opportunities but i have to literally compete with an international pajeets, so im lucky if i get $100 for 40hours of sidehustling

oh shit i read 8k as your monthly expenses. Yeah do this, you can save 200k in a few years

Oh that's right, you start off with 60k. So you're doing ok then once you get employed. If both of you manage to get in, your now looking at two years, but if only one gets in, it's double that time, four years.

Honestly though, go past that into the 300k mark just to be safe.

You and the gf decide to become software engineers. You spend two years learning how to code (or whatever it is software engie's do.) and work at a company. Unfortunately in the future not only are companies very lib-tard esque but also with certain laws that were created just days ago pajeets infest your work space and take your jobs from you making far less. The company lets you go for showing "masculinity" and lets your gf go because a pajeet was a cheaper option.

The cycle repeats, you grow old, never getting to experience life since you spend it wagecucking. You both die of heart attacks.

You wake up, could it be? You've been reborn. A genuine do-over.

(You died of wagecuckery. Try again.)

I know you're just adding on, but:

Years of social exclusion and being "redpilled" have deemed you unfit for schooling / college. Your gym-brain cannot comprehend not being toxically masculine to your classmates and teachers. You also are crippled by your gaming rig devoting time to useless trivial video games over studying. Ultimately you waste $50k in two years on education that you cannot pay back.

You become homeless due to crippling student loan debt, and are murdered by another homeless person for being a white male.

I'm in software and I don't think it's all that rough, certainly better than a lot of other professions. And if the gf does it, there's a lot of push to get women in it, so she may have an easier time of it. Also if you apply to QA engineer positions, your dev skills isn't the only thing you compete on.

Yea it's a job, but everything is, especially self employment.

This seems like an easy one. 60k to start, so me and the wife enroll in nursing school and graduate with honors. It takes two years and thanks to white privilege I assume we don't get any scholarships or anything. We are down 16k for yearly expenses + 30k for our degree, 14k left. That will buy an engagement ring and modest wedding. We both start working at a nearby hospital making about 120k total and pick up part time jobs working one night a week for another 53k. The third year has us with 187k. All this time it's been going to Betterment's mutual fund shit. We keep working 4 nights a week for 3 years so this stack is 495k after yearly expenses. At this point we feel comfii and smug, decide to just work a weekender job, two nights a week bringing in 117k/yr and start spending way above our previous annual spending while nest egg grows. There are many fancy vacations since we are financially independent and making over 6 figures combined.

Oh shit I forgot this was about me. At 45 I'd expect to live for another 10 years max. My dad died of heart disease, his dad died of heart disease. My uncle who was 10 years older than my dad, died 7 months after my dad, heart disease. My mom's dad died of heart disease. Its hereditary on both sides. F'd in the A

Nursing, that's also a good one. You can do extra accreditation in that field to earn more too. Anesthetic nurses make bank

Speculate on commodities with the 60k, apply good risk and money management. Should take about 5-10 years max.

Where the fuck are these amazing part time jobs where you can choose to only work 4 week nights, have weekends off, and they're not already taken?

Put 60k in LINK. Fuck your no crypto rule

This. No crypto rule = kys missing out rule 2025

I think as a nurse you can chose to cut your hours / alter your schedule

Normal job 2 days a week weekend off then 3 jobs of 8 hours Monday and Tuesday, invest one jobs worth of money in the stock market and the BBB secondary bond market.

3 nights a week is full time. It's only literally fucking everywhere, you basically work as much or little as you want. The extra 1 night a week would be the part time. Nursing shortage is not just a meme. Idea is to get weekends on since the weekends pay an extra $4.5/hr, or if you are weekender it's almost double the full time base, but downside is the rate then becomes flat, no differentials. At that point who gives a shit tho? $47/hr is making bank, especially when you have 5 days off to enjoy all that money afterwards. If it doesn't sound like much keep in mind Mississippi is one of the lower paying states, not exactly an economic powerhouse here. Most states pay better. As they should because it's a hard fucking job. Even with nurse aides that clean up the poop you're still gonna be smelling it at some point and c. diff is fucking nasty.

If you have that freedom, I would just max myself out with the nursing. Ex-gf's best gayfriend went into nursing and said it was taxing emotionally but fuck it. Nurses can expect 30/hr minimum. If you pick up overtime hours from the cunts cutting their own shifts, the time and half will see you working less hours for money than a part time job 4 nights a week.

So if you're a weekender you can't get time and a half as a nurse?

>$60k nursing
>2 years of school

KEK, 2 years of school will get you one of those shitty $18h poop-cleaning jobs.

You have to go to a real college/uni to become an RN.

People die and it's sad I guess, but you get used to it quick. It's the frustration of dumbass patients and docs/admin bitching at you for the patent being too stupid to live or not prescribing what you tell them to. More the stress kind of emotionally taxing than the sad kind. Knowing a person could be fucked for life or die if you miss one little thing keeps you on edge. I've been averaging 66 hours a week, now starting to wonder how much longer I can keep it up. If girl you will gain weight doing it, if guy you will become skelly. No time or energy to eat right and with the sleep disruption your hormones are fucked five ways to sunday.

Full time base rate where I live is ~26/hr for new grad, a little higher if you have 2 years exp. Weekender is 47, full benefits if you work three nights a week, but third shift at a different rate. Easier to do local work with an agency if you're looking for money. Mine pays 43/hr but no benefits since they expect you to already have a full or part time job. Weekender already exceeds time and a half so it's definitely the way to go if you aren't planning to hit up the clubs or church.

RN is a two year degree in literally every single state in the United States of America. LPN is one year, and poop cleaning job doesn't even require certification. You have to go to real college which is two years long. If you want bachelors then it is one year in uni after the two year degree, which is all online and an be done while working full time. I did it while also working a second job on top of my full time job.
No idea how long it will last but for now nursing has a low barrier to entry, all the jobs you want, and pretty good pay considering what it takes to get in. My first year I was making 31/hr. I shill it to everyone. 10 years from now even if it's saturated I'll have enough experience to beat the new nurses out for the coveted positions.

Thanks for the info, man. Very informative. This seems like a great way to go.

Question: I already have a B.Sc. degree but for physical science, no bio courses. How long would it take for me to get an RN? (Looking for a career change soon)

There are accelerated BSN courses for people who already have a BS in another field. Might be possible to get it in just a year if you already have prereqs. Anatomy & physiology, microbiology, I think that's it. Maybe a statistics and chemistry course depending on the uni. Accelerated courses cost more than a two year but you have to consider less time in school and coming out with a BSN vs ADN, so depending on financial situation that could be the best route. I only did 2 years + 1 year because I coudln't afford the good one after picking a meme degree my first go around.

Thanks for the info! 1 year to switch to a decently-paying profession doesn't sound like a bad deal.
