So, I dont typically hold too much on an exchange, but I was in the process of setting some large buy orders on cryptopia and I seem to have picked the wrong time to have moved my BTC to the exchange. It's looking like I lost it all. I have held right on through the bullrun of 2017 and the bear year of 2018 just to lose it all like this.

I feel you. I did research for last 4-5 months to find a decent project that has 1000x potential. After all the research I was sure I found it (still sure about that) and bought 2 BTC worth it. Although odds are craptopia is not going back up, it's the ETH wallet they lost control of, maybe you'll see your bitcorns back one day.
Maybe I'm being delusional because I have been flipping the LTC-certain shitcoin on its own blockchain pair for a year there. These wallets weren't hacked, so I'm hoping I might see them again someday, even if reality says otherwise. But it does feel there is just no way to win.
