I am getting married soon, no prenup.
I want to start protecting my assets now. Is there any good ways to hold assets that can protect them from her if we get divorced in california?
My ideas so far:

*Definitely try to at least suggest the prenup.
*Good idea with the shell company, but make sure not to have easily traceable bank transactions between that and your personal account. This is more for letting money sit there and accrue interest secretly, or maybe purchasing some assets. (house might be risky)
*Set up a trust
*Get married in a state with the most reasonable divorce laws. She might be dumb enough to try divorcing from there too. Ideally live in that state.
*If you can tell that you're going to get divorced, try and pounce early and offer a deal. Tell her about how divorces are expensive and you'll both end up poorer. Try and low-ball her, and if she doesn't accept then try and get her to agree to an annulment or maybe arbitration.
*Make sure to find the best divorce lawyer in your state, and be ready to hire him first.
