Here are some important contributions the Chinese have made to civilization before NKN.
Everyday items such as:
Toothbrush
Reading Glasses
Toilet Paper(looks like the brown paper in some school restrooms)
Umbrella
Paper(modern form of paper)
Paper Money(first economic system to do so)
Tea(this is obviously a very popular drink around the world, even more popular than coffee)
Noodles(many types of noodles in China)
Ice Cream(though it’s more like an icie or a slushie)
And some more abstract concepts such as:
Standardized Exams
The first Bureaucracy(often has several branches, and the emperor has a bunch of Cabinet members advising him)
Separation between religion and the state(while other countries/civilizations would still be dominated by a particular religion)
Sun Tzu’s “Art of War”(studied by many people worldwide, used in military and business schools)
And more important contributions/inventions such as:
Printing Press
Gun Powder
Explosives(yes they have explosives using gunpowder, and have rocket bombs and land mines…what?!You thought they only used it for fireworks?)
Cannons(you shouldn’t be surprised, they were using this against the Mongols)
Compass
Seismograph(that is incredibly sensitive to the slightest tremor of an earthquake and can determine the direction of the tremors)
Mechanical Clock
Tradition of Mass Production/Manufacturing(yes, there were giant factories with machinery during the Song Dynasty, and there was concern about pollution at that time)
Rice Cultivation/Terrace Farming(perhaps the most important, rice is an important food that feeds half the world)
