Therein lays the value of Ethereum, it’s utilty by which to build shit. What that’s worth remains to be seen. However, don’t be surprised if ETH makes healthy gains while not functioning as a daily global currency, leaving the task for a specialized protocol like OxBTC.
As for bitcoin. Once it figures out whether it is a currency or a store of value (its the latter best case) then the market will stop shitting. But perhaps ETH and LINK will decouple from BTC
