Holy fuck. Why are there so many consensus algorithms? It seems like all of these except one or two should fail sooner or later, once the standard has been established.
POW can't scale, crypto is dead if a better consensus algorithm doesn't emerge.

What about Proof of Formulation? FLETA is A Dapp platform that has its own consensus model and uses Parallel Sharding as well. who gives a shit about 100 different ones, find a good one and stick with it
Bitch please. EoS proved that this fucktard governance system fails when someone fails to check their goddamn email. Also STEEM is a scam! Prove me wrong biatches!
May be the first reaction, but our complete ineptitude when it comes to marketing will probably help dispel that a bit.
That and once some big brain folks come out and talk about it (assuming they say publicly what they've said in private), that may help as well.
Also the fact that there's no pre-mine bullshit. And real innovation.
Shouldn't say much. If you're reading this, sorry mate

Bitcoin (that is, what was once the original idea of Bitcoin) is like the Atari of computers nowadays. Without fundamental changes, it will never be useful for anything beyond a store of value. It's just too slow, too clunky, too dug into its own grave at this point.

You got a time frame of when to look for it?

I wish I did. We'll see how things go. The PoC of the core pieces has been working for about a month I'd say. The other huge piece hit a big milestone as of this weekend. So much time put into it.
We're nearing the point of meeting in the middle to finally plug things up and spin up an alpha testnet (instead of just a few artificial nodes as it is now). I'm not sure if we'll even post about it anywhere at that point. We may wait until we've written the paper on it so people know wtf they're even looking at.
It's hard to shut up about it, though. Really fucking excited generally.
