ABSOLUTELY BASED

>Cryptopia notified funds are being moved out of their hot wallet
>Too busy fucking sheep, call the cops 36 hours later

>Binance notified Cryptopia-linked funds being traded on their site
>Frozen immediately

makes sense. there really aren't that many places to trade.

Funds are safu?

if you stole Monero you wouldn't have this problem.

>Implying Police will do some

fundus are not save at all if your fundues are in the non fungible BTC shitcoin

Because there is no crypto to fiat exchange that willingly engages in money laundering. Duh. It has to go somewhere

>cryptopia is based in wales

>steal crypto
>sent to private key you control yourself
>let it sit for 3 years
>find some newer and smaller exchange who probably doesn't have blacklists
>sell a little at a time for monero
>move around a bunch for 6 months, convert to other privacy crypto
>finally convert to fiat
trying to cash out immediately is lazy

Funds are freezu.

Someone who's smart enough to hack an exchange is also smart enough to not allow this to happen to him.

Exit scam confirmed

this. thats why monero has intrinsic value. the money laundering industry alone is worth trillions not to mention the drug industry.

binance is the most security minded exchange I've seen. constantly adding new security features. they don't fuck around.

those bitcoins were used to pump LINK

>sir

Lol

Wait is this good for cryptopia?

so just keep it until it moons or spend it

Doubt they sent anything but worthless shitcoins. The risk is worth it if you are holding worthless rank 200+ alts. Most exchanges don't even list them

theyre just desperately trying to look legitimate so regulators don't shut them down, or more importantly go after the individuals running binance.

its only a matter of time though, especially since their "decentralized" exchange to be launched isn't even decentralized

That doesn't fucking mean monero has to go up in price for it to function

I don't understand why l33thax0rz are not converting to monero, this does not make any sense, something is so fishy about these exchange hackings...

Why are they sending it to Binance is a good question... All they're doing is giving Binance a chance to boast.

Suspicious...

the hacker wants to pump his shitcoin
this isn't the first time that hackers use stolen coins in this way

They were trying to wash their coins in the exchange pool. Most like Binance was just stop 1 of many along the way. They were stupid for not waiting longer, and not wallet hopping before trying this.

>I don't understand why the hackers keep sending to Binance.
Yeah sure, fucking chink scammer

>buy some shitcoin on binance
>hack exchange cryptopia'
>send funds to binance account
>place sell orders with a different account with said shitcoin
>pump shitcoin with stolen funds
>receive BTC in your account
>convert to Monero
>take it out
>GG you just played the system.

Funds are fwozu

yeah, but literally the most legitimate exchanges can freeze monero anytime. usually people who report that they got 'scammed' by legitimate reputable exchanges are those who were having a lot of monero volume in their accounts and werent providing kyc.
it have to in order to become an ultimate laundry. but it never will because of the above.

CZ is unironically b a s e d

Yuo can't prove anything with monero though

kiwis are the welsh of the southern hemisphere
