yes buy the grown up project skycoin. Whose creator is douchey enough to go by "synth" and its community that seems to think marketing featuring half naked woman makes them appear as adults rather than the basement shut ins they really are.
Skycoin does have a chance too, but it needs way more marketing and always will need way more marketing, because the product is too complex. It's an unsustainable solution for retail investors who want to buy the coin, but it works for synth pocket, and a bit for miners pockets.

I was at a conference where Skycoin presented last year and had the chance to talk to Synth. The guy was genuinely smart and highly passionate. His team and a guy from the community were also there. What I can tell for sure is that these people are very very committed to the project and have utmost respect for Synth. So I’m not sure if Skycoin will succeed or not, but they will definitely go far.

It's like you people forget about decentralization. The idea is to make sure no one has a central authority. You don't want apple to have access to your information? Use ELA. You don't want amazon to see what you store on their storage? Use SIA. Etc.
NKN has never been about replacing the internet for fucks sake. Unlike SKY it doesn't have as much "potential" in the long term. NKN will power dAPPs with decentralized and free internet but it needs the internet to function and I doubt that they will be able to get passed that. NKN will be big and SKY might be huge.
