Fuck this just sold. I knew something smelled fishy.

It won’t

They have their own chains. swap in 2 months... Eth is crap for this

Why would a company use Eth when you could use CHX which is actually built for purpose with a concept to completion service. Stupid biz being stupid again.

Ask this in their channel and @ their blockchaindev Insulanian. That'll be fun

WATCH HOW THEY SWITCH SIDES F2G

The shill to fud timeline was shorter than expected

>They have their own chains
This is a drawback. How is it secured?

>Eth is crap for this
How? If it's actually needed for some specific jurisdiction they spin one up using PoA network and interoperate with mainchain.

Network effects and liquidity. Purpose built is ususally code for hardcoded inflexible shit chains.

They're more flexible and compliant than eth will ever be. Remember the CEO worked at CPU and had 500 people under him working on the same stuff.

Read this^

You can also ask the blockchain dev they have everything @insulanian and he'll happily correct you ;) Be a good fudster and do it user

>They're more flexible and compliant than eth will ever be
No, eth as a whole need not be compliant. Compliance is built using restrictions in the token contracts.

Article is just fluff about team experience.

>ask the blockchain dev they have everything @insulanian
You do it and post screenshots, I don't use telegram. You want to counter the fud right? ;)

Will 1000 chx , to buy a nice house and car in 3 years?

Red flag. Selling coins to the market for paying developers? Tokenomics soon .

No because I have 10k, so that will mean I’ll have 10 nice houses and cars.

HOLY SHIT EVERYBODY GET OUT OF CHX NOW!!!! SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM !!!!!

you talking Legos mate?

lol fud fud fud

missed the boat my poor boy?

Looks like some retards believed the fud and sold. Thanks for giving me another chance for charging up my bags

All I get from this thread is that you have no reasons for why CHX, another one in the sea of coins that aren't really needed, will prevail over a simple standards document.

holy shit literally sold this morning

Just sell into my bags and move one. See you at 200 mil whahaha

ETH transactions are like watching paint dry. Why does this even need to be explained?

So they go the MakerDAO route and provide a federated/dPoS sidechain that can be arbitrarily fast and interoperable. Own is dPoS anyway which is EOS-tier but without the option of moving to the more secure chain. Already explained this.

Yeah, ETH's "PoS" was supposed to arrive 3 years ago. It only has first mover advantage and it has only caused the developers to be complacent. It will be really amusing to see how long it lasts. Ethereum being a "secure chain" can flip itself on its head overnight.

Sidechains being PoS has nothing to do with the mainchain being PoS. The sidechains already exists.

>Ethereum being a "secure chain" can flip itself on its head overnight.
Sure, it's not about eth being the mainchain, it's about CHX's model with it's own chain and token being bad economics and security. They're going that way to justify selling tokens.

I think you've done little to no research on how dPoS will work on the Own blockchain or how it is even secured.

It's natural for #1 to talk down to the up and comers. Time will tell.

Fair enough user, I've read this one medium.com/@ownmarket/own-launches-dpos-staking-mechanism-cf5bc4412a88 and it seems like totally standard DPoS which so far hasn't worked well for any big chain. See EOS, LISK.

This thread sucks

I'm not too familiar with EOS. How has it not worked well for them?

The guy who developed the consensus protocol for IBM's hyperledger was and is assisting Own in the development of theirs. Give Own a chance!

>how CHX will btfo this
>how CHX will blown the fuck out this

wtf is that even supposed to mean?

>How has it not worked well for them?
Cartels. Same with LISK. In the OWN case there's also the fact that a malicious actor can jump in and offer 100% (or more, or a little less not to raise suspicion) of rewards to delegators, running at a small loss while accumulating power, and short before fucking over the chain. DPoS just isn't good for something like this. They'd be better off with the XRP model honestly.

I'm out. Enjoy the pump if/when it happens.

Wouldn't someone have to accumulate an insane amount to be able to fuck over the network?

>In Q1 2019 we will start the main-net by running 20–40 validators in our control, which will lock-in 10–20 million CHX from the start.

eth is an overpriced shitcoin that can't scale

Not in DPoS, you can use others' shitload of accumulated amount. Essentially bribing without telling people it's a bribe. Just google DPoS security.
