I sent 0.3 BTC to Bitmesh from Binance, the transaction went thrugh, Bitmesh claims to have received 0.3, but instead credited me 0.03 (10x less). On the blockchain it says my bitmesh address received 0.3 and then sent it right back out within minutes. I have 2FA and everything. Wtf is going on? I just want to buy Grin man.
Bitmesh wrongly credited funds

Don't use exchanges called bitmesh.
it's got Grin tho man fuck this shit i just want 10ETH worth of GRIN
lmao
This
Also, don't transfer directly between exchanges. Use your own wallet.
fuck the grin developers then, even if they said "be careful" they shouldnt be publicly supporting exchanges that rob funds
Use Tradeogre and WAIT, grin is a overpriced and overhyped mess, why fomo so early?
im only starting to buy now, this was supposed to be my first buy
Why doesn’t someone fork this shit already to have sensible inflation.
Try bibox. That's where I got mine
Can someone help me figure this out
blockchain.com
do exchanges ever make transactions without asking you for security purposes? ive never seen this shit before. i did one transaction before and it was fine lol, and people are trading on Bitmesh as we speak. even the GRIN mining pools are sending Grin directly to Bitmesh. Everything screams legit, then this shit happens
here look they processed my shit and then i get 10x less in my account
As I said, YOU JUST GOT MTGOXED
Dca around $1, grin is a hyperinflationary coin, time is your friend
K i figured it out. Bitmesh is just really shit at clearning their funds. this will probably take hours. whatever. i will probably get a better price too lol
fuck centralized exchanges man
>Bitmesh is just really shit at clearning their funds.
it's called laundering, and it takes time, fag.
Galleon seems to be working fine, just be careful withdrawing ETH (contract failed due to lack of gas, refunded to shared account, but not to my balance)
team is responsive on telegram, fixed this issue for me. not scam
Ok so after analyzing everything im pretty sure bitmesh has a bug in the software they wrote to handle wallets and transactions. lmao. the good news is the transaction was sent to themselves. the bad news is the new amount which they credited to me (which isnt on the blockchain) seems completely random even to Bitmesh.
Kind of annoying, but can be fixed. Would I trust bitmesh after this though?
They responded pretty quick with pic related. i think Bitmesh is run by Pajeets
you really think it's gonna drop that much? do you think crypto in general is going down a little more or something? i mean, it's totally conceivable
About 2 years early on grin fren. Monero is also implementing mimble wimble as a side chain.....
thats true. eventually even btc will get it, if all goes well. but i think in the mean time grin will have some hype and be desired. will it survive? ion know. but i can still makes some monies
I don’t think bitcoin will get any privacy on base layer and honestly privacy on second layers isn’t really private. Bitcoin is extremely hard to change and I don’t think it ever will. This isn’t a negative though. SoV monetary good can’t change overtime. This is why gold has been money for thousands of years, the properties that make it sound money haven’t/(can’t, possibly ocean crust miner, asteroid mining etc in way distant future). Grin has a low stock and high flow you’ll have time to accumulate. It’ll be easier and worth it when there’s better wallets and credible exchanges that list it.
what happened with gold is transactions became too frequent and it was too costly and hard to securely transfer value, so people just started trusting other "entities" and started trading notes/IOUs and settled those notes/IOUs with said "entities".
I think now we can have BTC work as a SOV on the base layer, but then you can choose to trust various different second layer solutions as per your need.
So yeah, we'd have a scenario where us old folk will be telling our children "I like to settle my transactions in real money, good old BTC", and our children will be using some tokenized version of BTC on some other blockchain they chose to trust.
But yeah, about Grin. I'm pretty worried it'll pump (see coblee/satoshilite/litecoin founder talking about Grin and Beam in the media). Grin is at a 750 market cap on coingecko and these things move fast now. It's not early 2017 anymore.... ion know
Have a look at Bitcoin or any PoW altcoin in it's first few months as the hyperinflation sets in. Grin is like that except there's not block halvening to artifically cut rewards so the inflation is going to look more like Dogecoin than any of the other major PoW coins.
Speaking of 0.3, if you're buying this shit before then you are dumb as rocks.
