You talking about the Mike Rowe quote from his rebuttal to the so y bo y NYT modern man list?

My wife shit tested me something similar after the last thread, uncanny. "user, what would you do without me and your son?", "I would be the same person I am now".

You know it's funny how "the infamous hacker known as Jow Forums" is the "ebil bad guy of the internet xDD" yet redditors (and leftists really) are some of the most hateful people you can find. It's a different kind of hate. While we call each other fags (which is more akin to banter) they are at least passive aggressive and at most censorship friendly (deleting your comments and banning you even when you don't post anything against the rules (hello, jannie)). They will basically destroy you in their hivemind. Downvoting you to hell and actually abusing you with replies if you do NOT comply to the standard NPC think norm of our indoctrinated society. There are a few "decent" sub reddits where you can either a) get some quick info (tech related usually) or b) meet some non-freaky people (who usually visit here too anyway). The fact that there is a sub reddit called "incel tears" which tries to shame and dehumanize unlucky men further really makes me think of the state of that place and really, this society as a whole.

>I have often wondered how it is that every man loves himself more than all the rest of men, but yet sets less value on his own opinion of himself than on the opinion of others. Redditers just havent been forced out of their echo chamber so they regularly rely on the perceived authority (upvotes, muh source with credentials) to validate their thoughts and self worth.

LMAO
did you show her the thread or something? you're a grade A idiot if you browse Jow Forums with your wife. this place is mindfuck central

That's a decent plebbit post. There's a lot of nonsense in it, but in my opinion the overarching theme is accurate. Not all women have it easy, there are plenty of fat and ugly girls that have social awkwardness and have just as much difficulty getting laid as your average incel.
However, and I don't even think this is unfair to say, the average woman does not have trouble getting laid. That has caused women to take a strategical view of sex, which the majority of men have nothing even CLOSE to that luxury, it's even hard for them to fathom it.
Women can use sex as a tool, and I don't mean that in an offensive way. It allows women all sorts of benefits. Men cannot use sex that way, but we can use other things that way (wealth, power, status, etc.). This has caused men to leverage wealth, power, status, etc. for sex, while women leverage sex for wealth, power, and status. That's where evolution has ended up.
The whole idea of upvoting and downvoting is so revolting to me that I will never in a million years expect or value any discussion on plebbit. Their opinions are less than worthless, but as far as a news/information aggregation website, it's fine.
this ((we live in a society)) wherein sincerity, empathy, and compassion are largely dead, this is especially true if you're a man. Men who cannot justify their existence are pretty much subhumans nowadays. Not all girls are down with roastie logic, but they're few and far between.

>The object of life is not to be on the side of the majority, but to escape finding oneself in the ranks of the insane. That being said, i think theres value in the concept. The problem is that the "votes" arent really votes at all, and are whatever reddit thinks they should be. What if the concept of upvotes and downvotes was implemented on a blockchain, where people could pay/receive sats for upvotes?
Joseph Evans
I meant to quote you as well, but got distracted as i thought of the other one. >The whole idea of upvoting and downvoting is so revolting to me that I will never in a million years expect or value any discussion on plebbit.
Austin Bailey
if people had to pay to upvote then maybe reddit would be better, less circle jerk and more like an actual discussion
Dylan Walker
I think it could even be a good way to make policy decisions in democratic countries, the way it works in the swiss cantons but with more transparency. Not making an argument for or against democracy, but more a use case for the upvotes/downvotes and blockchain.
Dominic Stewart
this upset me so hard i saved it

If we're doing requests, there's a video of a slavic girl (Can't remem if she was military or not) singing some slavic war song on her own while a friend films. Think she was sat on some kind of desk.
Anyone know the song in question or the video I'm talking about?
