Jow Forums unemployed general

how do you do it bros? how do you motivate yourselves rejection after rejection knowing everyone around you thinks you are a loser which just perpetuates a viscous cycle further prolonging your unemployment? i was doing a couple of online courses for an area i want to get into, but after receiving rejections after rejections, starting to wonder if there is any point continuing the course anymore

Id rather kill myself than work a 9-5. I either become un average or i die early, i dont care if people think im a loser. Im pursuing more than just crypto though, thats just one of the many goals I'm working toward

I accumulate BTC. Anyone who holds onto at least 1 will be able to make it into perpetual NEETdom.

I'm a trust fund babby. I might have to get a job soon so I'm not a total loser

>currently in the area nearing 400 apps
>PhD

Any and I really mean that: A-N-Y questions?!

Same here, good luck user

what's your major?

Try getting a hair cut kid

if you dont have a job offer after 50 applications you're doing something fundamentally wrong

Same here. Just want to have 2BTC by the next bullrun. I'd have to die before I go back to wagecuckery

Get a job ffs, you could get that in like 6 months work even with a McJob. Then you have 4!

I quit my job 8 days a go, joined reed, sent out 4 cvs and have an interview, and a job offer in 5 days. U just need to try and maybe redo the cv.

Am not in murrica. I'm in a third world shithole, am technically skilled but no opportunities.I lost my previous IT support job when company decided to downsize. But learning Python and other languages.

Business?

> doing a couple of online courses
tell it's not programming, because by itself it will not be enough to distinguish yourself from all the other wannabe programmers...

by that time you should already figure that there must be something more here - a systematic issue, have you checked obvious things like typos in the resume, meeting the basic requirements, having something better to offer than all the other desperates?

> how do you motivate yourselves rejection after rejection knowing everyone around you thinks you are a loser which just perpetuates a viscous cycle
you're doing it wrong, don't take it to heart, it's just a soulless process, a numbers game, it's very unlikely you are being rejected "as a person", probably some intern sorts the resumes by experience and you are below top 10, have boarder perspective man - it's not at all about you unless you fail on-site interview...

source for picture is talent.works/blog/category/science-of-the-job-search keep in mind that while they try to keep sample sizes high and random it's all drawn from people who use their service so a bit of self-selection bias - only people who have problem getting hired use their service

why'd you even try? you'd be in the same spot if you didn't even bother, except you could have enjoy so much extra free time
NEETs win again
