>promoted without raise, paid less than everyone else in company, keep former position but work new position also >suck at begining because no training, got a lot better >could be even better but not going to move at robot speed because of low pay >have tried to get a raise 5 times >last attempt I went to boss and poured my heart out was very upset, wanted a fucking .25 cent raise and told him it's hard to be motivated for less pay than everyone else, the targets they are giving me are unrealistic for my pay rate, he actually said to me "user you shouldn't let the fact your paid less than everyone affect the quality of your work"
Fuck boomers. I'm resigning from my new position in 6 days if I hear nothing about a raise. Literally the most entitled generation, they have no idea how good they had it. They would rather scramble to fill a vacancy than treat workers like humans. I cover all vacations and personals idk who they are going to find to replace me. The worst part is all my bosses are nice to interact with I just don't understand why they have to be shiftless kikes about a token raise. Been with company a long time but they clearly don't value my years given to them at all.
> .25 cent raise > upset that being treated like dog shit as a minimum wage worker
yep, welcome to the real world kid

Dont drop it yet if you have nowhere to go. Start job hunting and when you secure a spot use it to leverage your raise. Explain how its more expensive to hire and train a replacement than give you a raise. Use your spare money to buy link

I'm not dropping it I'm just going to ask to be my original peon position >buy Link Kek, no

Where do you work that you are fighting so hard for a $0.25 raise? How long have you been working here? It seems like this place has a high turnover and can easily find people to replace you. If you're easily replaced, the boomer has no reason to pay you. I'm not defending them, if you've worked there for awhile now and you are improving; increasing your responsibilities or being more efficient or whatever you do deserve a raise.
Either way, start looking for another place to work or improve your skillset (with school or something) so that you can demand more money from any future employers.
In fast food, my GenX boss was cool, but forgot to give me a 90 day 25 cent raise. Got it two years later. Coworker zoomer friend of mine takes over, looks at my pay and ups it 50 cents within a couple of weeks of taking over.
In school at the moment so I can work on getting more money in a less stressful job.
