Are we in hell?

the only thing you need to say to people to change the future is no taxation without representation.
central banks reduce the value of the currency so everyone can never retire.
reminder we are on a rock orbiting a perpetual nuclear explosion and there is no reason to debase currency against cpi

the goal is to deprive you of any autonomy

your mere existence is an inefficiency and the system in place is designed to increase efficiency. having control over your senses and depriving you of any autonomy, essentially makes you a meaty robot. the human experience is inefficient and thus not in line with the pursuit of profit.

not that communism is any better, they still advocate work for the sake of work. not even joyful, passionate, nor productive work. just work for the sake of it.

both systems must be rejected entirely if you want to escape this dystopia. this will require people to call into question the very foundations that society is built upon. particularly - why do we work? work became a thing to facilitate our survival, but we are long since past conquering the basics of the natural world. so why do we still work? people do not work on their passions. they work for the sake of it. such to the point the system will dictate we augment ourselves just for the sake of it.

the REAL goal of the system in place (and the terrible alternative that's offered by the other political spectrum) is to deprive you of the sanctity of your mind, body, and soul. thus the real solution is a society built not on work, but built on ideals and principles.

Always think to yourself, when daydreaming of a utopian future, who can afford to implement this vision, and how will they profit from it's implimentation?

Nobody is building you vr to have fun with; nobody is researching artificial wombs for your sperm; robots that do backflips in labs aren't being built to help you clean your room.

A few ways to go about countering this objectivist hell is conducting psy-ops campaigns to help drag America and China into a confrontation that obliterates all the corporations intermingled into them, which forces them to see a world view that isn't centered around globalist profiteering.
This is the most peaceful way to counter the cabal of corporations that doesn't involve shooting up all of their buildings when the mass-displacements of the underclasses really kicks off.

>not knowing about the electric universe/externally powered sun
Will never make it

Lol
All that shit is being built because entertainment and comfort. Which people pay money for.

B2b or b2gov is the top of the foodchain. Anything being sold to us, even appliances at this point (smart refrigerators, etc), is a coordinated hustle to sell something more important/ profitable to a bigger fish.

>why do we work?
This.
We're heading to a post-work future in the West, machines and the Third World will be who need to work.
And once they reach our level?
Then what?
What would happen if every person in the world would be paid $20 credits per hour for anything they did?

That meme is true; If you work, you die. But it isn't a biological death, it is a death of the self.

The thing is there's still limited resources. Most of the underclasses and the lower-class is going to be considerably culled before we start seeing universal basic income. And even if it doesn't, universal basic income will lead to its own problems.

>The thing is there's still limited resources
Yet money is fiat, literally nothing.
I don't think a great culling will be needed, rather we'll whither down as people are more educated and comfortable.
I believe it is possible, just not in a way that appeals to most.

Money isn't a resource. Food, oil, electricity, space, social roles, those are all resources.

>Food, oil, electricity, space, social roles, those are all resources.
They are, however if the access to those finite resources is limited by infinite money, then surely we can 'give' everyone money.
>not that we can, but if we 'reset' everything.

Some people will use food and electric to program the next generation of communication satellites, others will use the same amount to produce 8 starving children. Don't give everyone the same amount. In fact, don't GIVE anyone anything.

Bro, the future is Oddworld.

Hello valued employees. We’ve made an addition to your kit to help minimize olfactory distractions. You may return to work now.

Oligarchical capitalism is a hell of a drug.

People thought technology would get better and help everyone until we are all living in star trek land but what's actually happening is the elites that run the major companies are getting rich at the expense of everyone else as the system slides into a sort of techno-fuedalism.

you played the fake deus ex game, play the real original from 2000. that world is accurate, because its actually based on real life conspiracy fact and conspiracy theory

>being a coincidence theorist in 2018

you don't have to prepend any words in front of it. it's just capitalism bub. this is how it works. this is the end game of it.

But minorities and women are barely represented at all in that game. What sort of message does that send?

Nothing on the wrist? Waste of efficiency.

>Oddworld
Abe?

Your input has been noted and will be added to the agenda of the next virtual agile scrum. Thanks for your input valued employee, you may return to work now.

Oh shit! Shinzo is on? Konnichiwa, m8.

there are plenty of minorities and women and even children. i dont think you ever played it

Thank you boss, may I ask for a raise?

But my friend! The future is like deus ex! The original one where the richest and most powerful inflict unspeakable horrors on civilians to fulfill their esoteric goals.

Certainly, your weekly KPI has been raised.

No need to thank us. You may return to work now.

>Nobody is building you vr to have fun with
Except every game developer out there, myself included

>nobody is researching artificial wombs for your sperm
Don't know why you'd be excluded. You probably won't need much money for this anyways

>robots that do backflips in labs aren't being built to help you clean your room.
They're trying to make them robust (like so they can fall and get back up without you helping them)
Probably also so they can eventually replace infantry. The next arms race will be battle bots (and hacking them), mech suits, space weaponry, etc. Doesn't necessarily mean they'll be used in a conventional war between two superpowers - probably more in civil wars and in proxy wars.

With all that being said: why are you such a brainlet? There are people out there who are just trying to do their jobs & make a living. There's also people out there that want to invent things and advance humanity in general. If you don't want to give your money to corporations, then don't. This shit isn't difficult to figure out

I want fucking augs though why do we have to live in Deus Ex with anti-augs

Cos AI has much more kick for a buck than robotics and cybernetics.
Businesses are much more easily improved by introducing advanced data analysis and AI methods than by replacing workers with robots. You will have no augs until AI hype is over due to its widespread and big bois start looking for new technologies to cut costs, ie augs and robotics.

imagine having an accident in your wage cage and you fall to the ground. you manage to remove your headset and blinders to call out for help only to see that none of your coworkers can hear or see you.

fuuuuuuuuckkkk me

What Deus Ex got right is that, as the world gets increasingly globalized, megacorporations essentially become the countries of the future, with people being more loyal to the corporation and its ideals than their own country.

Hi user,

We noticed a deviated pattern in thoughts and ideas from your side, about breaching work cage Code of Conduct. Please refrain from such statements in the future, for the safety and comfort of both our company and our valued employees

Rest assured that our company have all the measures and procedures in place to handle such an unprobable scenario.

Also kindly note that 15 min salary will be withdrawn from you today, since not working while writing or reading this message

Have a great day

Once again, commies and globalists blame capitalism for ruining lives

No.

I feel like whoever made that mouth cover thing never used a balaclava in their life.
That thing is going to be nasty after wearing it for a day.

it's 3d printed kickstarter bullshit

Capitalism is the problem faggot, globalists and oligarchs are better capitalists than you are.
