big money without my oil trading I would be tied or even with the S&P this year. Instead I'm beating, despite a lot of safe boring 'bloat' in my portfolio that lowers my short term gains in this market. Feels very good all around so far: strong gains, keeping it safe, keeping it spread.
note also that I've been adding ~1k/week since I started, so earlier gains were made with less principal.
Many people who take more aggressive positions will have made more money than me so far this year. I'm just trying to beat the S&P safely through the first half of the year and increase my RH account to 25k so I don't have the day trade restriction. I don't intend to use RH gold or margin.
