Just read the book “flash boys”, it will make you understand that every trade you make- an algo scalps your buy and your sell. Also for example- firms like Sigma2 are using much more sofisticated algos.
Just an example- they ping the sites of major online retailers and hotels millions of times a day- so they can approximate incoming trafic( and potential sales) by looking at latency deviations...
Meanwhile- retards on this board use meme lines and order book data to trade- imagine that.

You cannot get rich doing this. You can make an upper middle class living fucking around with certain stocks in the four middle hours of the trading day. Most people in these stocks think in terms of pennies and fail to realize that you are soaking them for percentages.
You just can't move large enough volumes to get rich or actual, larger fish will fake you out and steal your lunch. Getting 5 or 6 hundred dollars a day isn't unreasonable though.
