i already hodl a huge lump some of btc, eth, ltc before the 2017 golden bull. i leverage swing trade to accumulate. for now my short is open until we get a buy signal. 100 dollar range is a physiologically strong number so it'll be interesting if a signal comes through there. i dunnno if it'll go to 2k but i know it'll go to 40k, and 100k within 3 years. i trade based off my proprietary signals they work 9/10 times assuming i am at my computer to execute the trades when signals come through.

any tips for someone with 1k and new?

by no means am i saying i am special. i just happened to be at the right place at the right time. as for the guessing part it's not really guessing if there is a probability behind the success rate of the guesses; if anything it should be considered educated guessing... which makes it unironically science for markets.

with 1k at the current state of the market. you really have to DCA, and take profits at every 5-10% rise. assuming your intention is to trade that 1k. if not then you should still DCA a little every week. running out of funds is the worst thing that can happen to newbies. the signals are my own code that i developed if you learn how to code, and learn how to read markets you should be able to come to a similar mechanism for trading after a year or two.
