if this is real lets move there, because fuck the Jow Forums biz jannies
someone test it and report back
Evan Moore
You have my attention. Could you theoretically post whatever you wanted there and it would be there forever?
Oliver Howard
yes, but in the future, service providers, like this pages needs to see if someone post CP to delete it.. they cant delete it from the blockchain, but prevent it from beeing encoded on the site. so yes, everything forever.
Liam Diaz
How much does it cost to post to this new devilry? I have like a billion questions, but I won't annoy the shit out of you with them.
Leo Gomez
few cents. but can be adjusted by miners, as price and adotion increases, its likely that fees decrease. miners want people to do as much transactions as possible to earn. they will make it as cheap as possbile so billions of people can do it, makeing them, the miners rich, who will then, secure the network even more and so on.. thats bitcoin bitch
Camden Jenkins
I've been a hardcore skeptic since Jow Forums inception. (Yes, I could've bought btc for about $100 once upon a time, but I don't gamble so I'm ok with not becoming a millionaire that way) This. This, is moving me towards belief. AN ACTUAL USE CASE!
Liam Carter
>making the miners rich You mean making the chinese rich because they own all the ASICs.
Angel Roberts
you can buy bitcoin for 62$ at the moment. this is your second and last chance
there already is a decentralized alternative to the internet called ZeroNet and you don't need to pay to shitpost there. also everything there is forever as long as someone seeds it (its built on bittorrent technology).
hopefully, thats the only way it works. full block = miners earn by fees instead by mining bitcoin.
it can only work this way. mining coins was only an early incentive
John Stewart
yea but how do you store 1000 TB?
Nathan Cook
with 1000 TB storage space obviously you don't get anything for free you know
Aiden Powell
How Big Are Facebook’s Server Farms?
As Facebook grows, its data center requirements are growing along with it. The data center Oregon was announced as being 147,000 square feet. But as construction got rolling, the company announced plans to add a second phase to the project, which added another 160,000 square feet, bringing the total size of the campus to 307,000 square feet – larger than two Wal-Mart stores. Last year, Facebook secured permits to build another 487,000-square foot data center in Prineville.
Last year Facebook built a 62,000 square foot data center on its Prineville campus to house its cold storage, which can house 500 racks that each hold 2 petabytes of data, for a total of 1 exabyte of cold storage.
Jonathan Murphy
its only random data on the chain.. iofjp0ij42nr9ß12jpädiqwljfmes
the one who decodes it, or the one who host a website with the decoded video is the one getting fucked.. also hosting CP will leave a trail to you which will get you fucked to.
Logan Butler
also miners can choose to not accept OP_RETURN code. so they might scan it to remove it or outsource this to another business doing it for them..
IT NOT ONLY BITOCIN ITS A WHOLE WORLD WIDE ECONOMY which is emerging.
Miners will build fibre cables all around the world to compete against others. bandwith will be a sentence, nobody uses it anymore cause its near to unlimited.
we wont have high hardware pcs anymore, we will have terminals streaming everthing to ours screens directly from the blockchain.
ITS A NEW ERA
Brayden Reed
What does the coin buy me? I can use it for uploading/ downloading right?
Please forgive my retardation, in advance. Despite having been here forever, I've never felt the need for more than bemused passing curiosity.
Henry Sullivan
Unironically, 2019 is the year of decentralized file storage/hosting
Reminds me of that Holochain and IPFS thing :hmm:
Juan Barnes
>39 its Bitcoin. its sound money, you can transfer it to pay for stuff. you can also pay for bytes to be stored on the chain. everything can be stored on the chain. websites, music , books..
there will be new websotes based on this. you pay for a movie per minute and if it sucks you stop paying, forcing movie creators to acutally build quality to earn money.
Aiden Smith
Also... unrelated.
Anyone else seeing Hiro's new ads? He's got fucking Toyota ads, and shit, displayed. Dude's about to start making coin with this 4channel scheme.
I feel bad for old m00t and his garbage business tier acumen. Never could monetize this wart.
>Anyone else seeing Hiro's new ads? He's got fucking Toyota ads, and shit, displayed. Dude's about to start making coin with this 4channel scheme. really looking forward to the coming upvote/downvote system
Isaiah Diaz
Never use the same key twice. Did you even understand the very little basic of bitcoin you stupid brainless piece of bread?
Andrew Rogers
The best thing about metanet is that it aligns profit and information. The internet is about to be inverted from a user data harvesting system to a market for quality information. The amount of value that is going to be created by making trade happen on the scales and frequency of the information age is the singularity
Colton Howard
been hearing you kikes threaten this for 10 years. fucking doing it already you pussy faggot, i dare you
Camden Anderson
thats just a jpg of the thread, its not an actual website
Hudson Torres
I don't want to get this thread nuked, but i saw some very disturbing rumors about the future of our secret clubhouse over on Jow Forums, and the mods blew up the thread within 2 minutes of posting.
Sad times maybe? :/
Mason Cox
Another fucker who gets it
Ryan King
post the archived link
Liam Cook
>The best thing about metanet is that it aligns profit and information. The internet is about to be inverted from a user data harvesting system to a market for quality information. Leo Thomas
I'm a phonefag since 2010 my dude... want me to see if I can pull up the old url on the 404'd thread?
Isaac Flores
Toyota confirmed alt right
Jacob Sullivan
>I'm a phonefag since 2010 my dude... want me to see if I can pull up the old url on the 404'd thread? yeah, all Jow Forums threads are automatically archived so I can probably get the archived thread from the 404
Luis Gonzalez
OP what's your name on telegram
Christopher Smith
Actually the best thing is, that one coin is worth 62 fucking dollars at this moment. Bitcoin was worth 20k that did absolutely fuck all. Craig said by 2020 he estimates that a block will be worth 40k USD. 40k / 6.25 makes each coin well worth more than 62 fucking dollars.
Nathaniel Fisher
And that’s 40k backed by real wealth / info / data / etc
Joshua Perry
steemit.com already is done on blockchain and it looks like an ACTUAL modern website. this fucking slow garbage looks like it came straight from the 90s lmao so pathetic
Brandon Peterson
Tell me your name then i tell you if you know me
Elijah Davis
Can you host images on steemit?
Carter Cruz
IDIOT The block beeing worth 40k means a miner earns the fees worth 40k$ (minus bitcoin price) cause blocks will be gigabyte size and full of transaction and fees
Andrew Wright
I think this was the one. It shows as just 404 in my history description.
Easton Parker
boards. Jow Forums .org/pol/thread/ 201270434 Added spaces to show full url
Juan Richardson
First of all, I'm on your side, shitbag. Show some respect. Second, what I said is true of Zeronet and touches on the problem solved by metanet. I know you're excited, but maybe lay off the meth-posting for a little bit, fellow traveler.
OP is using proxies to talk to himself and/or has some other shills posting to fake interest in this retarded idea. No one wants to pay money to use a pathetic Jow Forums clone. Free 4 Chan clones fail hard let alone ones that require fucking crypto.
I'm genuinely interested, as evidenced by two unrelated side convos I've started. Yeah, it'll be dildos at first, but you'd have to be real autism to not see the potential, especially since it's in its infancy.
Kevin Howard
I actually thought it was pretty cool just as a tech demo
James Johnson
Was it confirmed fake? I don't like 8ch. They b& me from their Jow Forums for not living Jesus enough...
Oliver Morgan
this whole thread reeks of curry, very organic
Julian Long
so will they be using RLC for the data storage and cloud computing ?
Liam Diaz
Are you suggesting that some unkown party is paying indians to shill the coin that started it all? The one where no developer stands to gain from an ico or any of that nonsense? The one where only Satoshi himself, whoever that may be, could benefit most from a pump? The one coin that cannot be pumped by anything said here? What would the objective be for that? Answer ever single one of these questions.
Matthew Brown
Just get yourself a dollar of Bsv and try all the cool and fancy shit which is out allready and which is coming out day by day. Sure it's proof of concept yet. But if you understand the concept, you might see the trillion dollars industry which will emerge from this
Lucas Morales
Why nobody posting their handcash handle user i want to but don't wane get ban
Josiah Barnes
Sounds like steemit?
Jackson Garcia
>>Tfw No incentives to seed
Easton Baker
yeah let's monetize shit that would otherwise be free! let's monetize posting comments!
Hudson Gutierrez
The ux sucks, i think I'm learning ux
Elijah Jones
this is fucking shit
companies will make it so you have to pay money just to browse the internet and post comments
fuck that
Wyatt Nguyen
Creg's a salty faggot who stands to benefit and needs fools to buy into his project as it's getting shit on hard from every conceivable angle. Also good luck enforcing US software patents in Beijing.
>they will make it as cheap as possbile so billions of people can do it, makeing them, the miners rich, who will then, secure the network even more and so on.. thats bitcoin bitch
>those spelling mistakes >gratuitous use of commas >shilling Sanjeevs Vision
FUCK YOU CRAIG WRIGHT YOU SCAMMING NIGGER DIE YOU CUNT I KNOW ITS YOU
I'd suggest using IPFS as the backend - let the threads be purged out regularly. Just store the hash refs on the blockchain. Better for the chains performance & scaling too.
Jose Garcia
It's like gas poorfag. All dapps need these one way or another, it prevents network spam. We're talking less than a percentage of a cent ffs.
Lincoln Peterson
Fuck off, why would I pay for this shit? The new internet needs to be free for the end user.
Matthew Harris
You really never use Ethereum or EOS or something? Same principle, dapps are open & uncensored - but the tradeoff is they're pay to play (actually still cheaper than most supposed free shit paid by taxes or selling your data though). How new are you?
Ya know Craig, I still think you're a lying fuck about being Satoshi, but this is indeed close to what I'd originally wanted Bitcoin to be. >tfw a scammer realises actually delivering the product will be infinitely more profitable than scamming a few pajeets & NEETs.
Brody Baker
yea but how do you store 1000 TB? Who does it and why? Facebook?
Gavin Parker
It still can be - of the dev soak costs by monetisation of you some other way. Like writhing a PoWH implementation on top that profits when you deposit or something, or even just serving adds that offset gas costs. Every Website I own costs money, even the 'free' ones. If you're not paying upfront, I'm showing ads or selling something to cover that & profit.
Chase Sanchez
Miners. Or data center who work for miners. Or data centers who become miners. It's a brand new industry which is forming
Owen Richardson
IPFS. Can store bulk data & is commonly used by Ethereum & other shit. Will work fine with this too. Just a big p2p DHT, like a cleaner version of Bittorrent. >t. Dapp author currently checking the SDK for this out.
Jeremiah Carter
It means the good ones might get rich. The best jannies and shitposters will be rewarded for good content/curation. I like this metaphor. It fits since the Cambrian explosion is believed to have been preceeded by a yuge die off in the existing ecosystem due to a mega ice age. This nicely fits with the die-off we are currently witnessing in this, the last and longest of the crypto winters. We are all going to make it. The ghost of Satoshi cannot be put back into the bottle. We have been held back by these ridiculous economic illiterates for way too long. Time for these people to lose all their money and FUCK OFF
So all miners need to run a full node with a full copy of the blockchain?
Jace Reyes
I wouldn't waste my time here to post about my insane developments your shithead, I would continue develop more insane stuff. But I follow him on Twitter, yes
Jaxon Harris
slippery slope
don't say I didn't warn you.
Jacob Turner
SLIPPERY SLOPE
today it's $ .001, in 2021 it's .50 cents per post
fuck that
this means the monetization of every micro movement/interaction on the web. the most Jewish shit imaginable.
Cameron Peterson
No, all who run a full node, will be miners hosting the metanet. There absolutely no incentive to have a full node if you don't have at least a few % of the global hash power. ....Like it was described in the whitepaper
Benjamin James
Cause fees can't be adjusted lel. Miners earn by having people transact. People transact when it's cheap. Posting on a website, getting access to your mother's nudes by sharing cryptographic secrets also count as transaction.
Miners do all they can so that your mother can upload her nudes and sell them. They provide the storage, the infrastructure, the security and makes it cheap to use. Only then adoption = money
Nathaniel Miller
>Who does it Anyone that can make a profit providing that service >why To make a profit
How can you be in bitcoin without understanding this. Miners arent mining for free, theyre trying to make money. This is why btc is so fucked, without on chain adoption there is no security because its not profitable to mine when the block reward stops
Adam Bailey
Then it becomes like the problem of the commons, it's more profitable to mine without hosting the data even though the system doesn't work unless someone hosts it. If the cost of hosting data is small that's fine but that's not the case here, the cost can easily become more than the profit from mining and it probably will be because people will want to exploit subsidized data hosting. How do you profit from hosting the chain if you don't need to do that to mine?
Hudson Bailey
>23 fucking posts MODS, do your fucking jobs. How is this not blatant advertising?
You fucking janny fucks deserved to get dabbed on, you hot pocket eating degenerates.
Ian Clark
Fear, you are in fear you shitcoin Segshit will die . Looser
Oliver Brown
The only way a crypto version of 4 Chan would even work or be worth a fuck would be to use a coin that has infinite supply and very easy to obtain.
