problem is that crypto (and specially crypto meant for payments) depends on investor value and demand. Stellar's non-existing marketing plan was based on muh technologic progress in the background, leaving thousands of investors in the dark watching the price plunge 90% only to see Jed eventually come out and literally say "I dont care about the price, it is not important. It is not out goal to increase the value of the Lumens" - because its not important, right? You cant exchange value with something that does not have any value but anyway... non-profit open source and in Stellar's case infinite supply projects simply do not have ambition in the real money market game... and well, if they depend on it... they are pretty much doomed.
