>I'm new to the stock market, what stocks should I buy? Before you buy anything, make a brokerage account and read investopedia articles and/or the books in the OP list. If you don't have a broker, you can't buy stocks and if you blindly buy things without understanding how the stock market works or doing any research on the individual stocks you're buying, you will lose money and it will be entirely your fault.
>CPUC approves bailout package for PG&E. There's probably dozens of retards with PCG puts putting ropes around their necks at this very moment.
Kayden White
here's what I don't get, they approved the DIP but it will still file for BK, doesn't it just ease the sting?
Jaxon Howard
stoners day late on market trends bullish on weed tomorrow
John Watson
The thing is, and was always, that California doesn't think big enough to replace a company that has a monopoly on power for much of their state. Couple that with a nearly corrupt behind closed doors love of the rich and disdain for the poors this stock was never going away. I'll be holding for two years, but I'll be really happy with the results.
With earnings today, we're in for a whirlwind of downs tomorrow hahahaha.
Let the great bear begin!
Isaac Ramirez
Powell isn't going to say anything new. I would bet on bearish because AAPL ER AH. This whole weeks feels bearish based on earnings and the economic data coming out.
Robert Sullivan
Yo.
Also if you're still holding CRON you're being a greedy fool. Take profit now. Or take out half and stop loss the rest. Look at the chart history if you think i'm fudding just to be a dick here. Look what happens every time after it spikes up like this.
Bearish over the next few days. This recent stock rally peaked. Only Powell beginning QE would send the markets higher. Retest? Yes, we will most likely see that. What happens after that I don't know, but on a monthly timescale I am also bearish.
rate hike now, so the jevvs will have their beloved giant double dip in the charts, which of course they'll see it reversed, like shorters do, so to them it'll look like the devil's horns (which they worship)
Carson Morales
Same plan as before. Two hikes for 2019. He might do the first right away while market is still up from the 2018 lows. That gives give the option to maybe skip the second hike if the fallout from the first is too extreme.
>Cali retardation Yeah, they should have just let the guys that keep the lights on for like 70% of the state just die, foresight and critical thinking be damned.
Michael Reyes
I just want to experience one of these in the near future.
I didn't expect a major utilities company to get left to dry, but their balance sheet is unbelievably fucked on the debt side, and they are still going to file for BK soon, this intraday price movement makes no sense to me
>normie investor >trading based on what you think the market should do instead of playing based on what you think the algos will do You're trying to play checkers in a chess tournament, user.
Jaxson Harris
How do i get around the robinhood day trader thing
Christopher Taylor
Have 25k
Austin Jones
Is he going to murmur quietly and reserved like he's commentating golf? If so, set up a twitch and I'd probably run it while I traded so I could pretend day trading isn't degenerate.
Easton Lopez
when being under 25k
Robert Allen
Or use multiple brokers with play money in each if that's not an option for right now. But thats a pita.
Jaxon Sanchez
You don't
Jace Moore
Ah, okay. Thanks /smg/!
Cooper Morales
It’s time for you to take the BTI pill and stop investing in the inferior product.
>100k in index funds >600 dollars in play money this ratio is out of whack mate... 20k is good play money here max...
Dominic Reed
man LCIguy has been posting a lot of weird shit lately, I may have to filter him..
Nathaniel Wilson
Was down $500, managed to cut it down to $8. Should I walk away or roll the dice again?
Matthew Campbell
> hey crack heads, I nearly cleaned up my life and sobered up, should I go on a week long crack binge with HIV infested hookers? Come on, you know the answer to that question.
Aren't you immune from catastrophe with index funds? If a company shits the bed it simply leaves the index and another more solid business takes its spot.
Ayden Nguyen
Nailed it. I knew it looked familiar
Hunter Cox
that pendulum guy is a real piece of work I mean YIKES, imagine having a son like that?
Christopher Jenkins
yes, but what if every company shits the bed simultaneously? its happened before, like in 2008 also happened in Japan after hiroshima
Aiden Reed
Indices don't magically drop a stock if they stb. Most indices are rebalanced quarterly. So you'd be holding it until March at least. That's assuming the company in question was already at the bottom end of the index to begin with. If your company was at the top, your etf may hold it for years. In fact this is one of the arguments against ETFs, that they will hold a known bad company as long as it's part of the underlying index.
Easton Sanders
Bears gonna claim total victory and implement the final solution tomorrow.
William Reed
My tax return is coming and we get cheapies??? Thank you bogs True this, very very YIKES.
Jordan Lewis
Stop loss and go bear.
Ayden Peterson
AAPL better hit a grandslam with their earnings and guidance today.
