I did trade school and honestly, job prospects suck. Starting pay is 14 an hr for an electrician. Trade jobs suck unless it's a union and even then, it's demanding af work.. I hate it, but am biting the bullet. Fuck me. Union pays well tho but seriously it's not worth it outside of one.
I'm now finishing a bachelors in 1.5 yrs just to try to become a teacher and have an easy as shit job.
Just do the first 2 years at a CC to basically get the classes for free. NO ONE GIVES A SHIT ABOUT PRESTIGE IN THE REAL WORLD so don't fall into that trap. Your goal is to graduate with as little debt as possible and as fast as possible. Take summer and winter classes. Just get that shit done asap.
Don't fall for the stem meme. Ya, better pay BUT if you don't like studying it DON'T DO IT. Only do it if you actually legit have a passion.

In todays world the only reason to go get a degree is for dotcors/ compscientists and some other top chad engineers, 99% of all the other degrees will end up as office drones and you can be sure that their BS jobs will get automated into oblivion first.

I went to community college for the first two years
It was great, I was able to pay off everything just by working a little bit, plus I was living with my parents so it was even easier, got out with all my Gen Eds done so when I went to real college I could focus on my major, and on top of that you basically can get out debt free with an associate's degree and then choose what you want to do, whether you want to keep going in college or do something else

If you're vaguely academically inclined, go to college, preferably with a real major, but even a major in "Pick Your Grievance" Studies has a strong net positive lifetime earnings conditional on you actually graduating.
If you've never been close to academically inclined go to trade school, college will just give you debt & then you'll fail out.
