Cant find a job

Im having intense anxiety about my future

I can not find a job. I have a degree in economics and am stuck doing a dead end accounting job. I was thinking to either

>continue accounting and get (i hate accounting)
>learn data science (difficult and boring)
>learn web dev or UX design
>go back to school and get a masters
>get into sales (no luck getting a call back)

What do? All these things are completely different paths and dont overlap. I am stressed and overwhlemed and feel like im losing time

>get CPA*
Also currently making $14hr at my shitjob

definitely do not go into sales my friend

Go get your MBA, if didn't get a job before you'll surely get one after you attain your MBA.

I would also look at some financial services jobs, they are great entry points

kys, I'm not saying this in bad faith, there's nothing of value in the world

Incur more college debt and degrees, great idea

learn web dev/programming, get some certifications, apply and pass programming tests during interview

Just have a rich daddy, any things possible ;)

Start a business

They never call me back

I know. Half of these jobs dont actually produce anything of value

Any idea where to start?

MBA here... Uh don't get an MBA.

Reseach the coolest companies to work for (maybe on Glassdoor) and check the types of job openings they have the requirements needed. Start checking those off.

>need 5 years experience to get those jobs
>cant get job without experience

learn html, css, javascript (node, express, jquery, react), SQL, git at a minimum. beneficial to also know a true OOP language like python, PHP, ruby as well. build and deploy projects and have a public github. you can do all this in a year realistically.

apply anyway

SOunds scary but ill try i guess

Jesus act like a fucking man and get confident in yourself. No wonder you can’t get a job

I am in the exact same position (except different degree) as you OP, I am just so incredibly neurotic that I cant even bring myself to apply for any job.

sounds scarier than it is man. check out freecodecamp or similar tutorial programs, they're quite good and free. try some javascript tutorials and if you enjoy it just keep building. no larp you can do it in a year, bootcamps churn out employable developers but there's no reason to pay when the curriculum is online for free

Computer science is hard af bro i tried it in highschool and got rekt

fucking this. Take it from a 32 year old ex entrepeneur ex corporate neet barnacle. The world doesn't owe you SHIT buddy. If you want something badly enough, its all there for the taking but you need to show some initiative and discipline and go out there and fucking fight like a man. Whether its health, wealth, relationships, mental wellbeing, its all about putting in the fucking effort. Damn millenials these days just want everything spoon fed to them. This is why Trump won.

I dont WANR to do this shit at all. I never had any interest in programmingbut if thats what i have to do just to make money then so be it
