If it ever gets legalized here in northern Europe in a sense that you can sell your own strains/products I will go try to get my foot into this business.
I already have all the strains in mind and I try to appeal to the "organic" crowd. I have not smoked in years, but back in the grew some of my own, it was honestly the only thing I was ever passionate about even though I do not enjoy it that much recreationally. It is a great plant just to watch it grow

I'm pretty much the same way. I don't smoke anymore, but grew a little when I was 16. I've been investing in MJ since 2015 and always knew marijuana would be a big part of my life. I owe $200,000 of my net worth to MJ so far.
Growing when I was 16 was awesome. I would go everyday with my friend along the side of a mountain on a popular hiking trail, there was a spot where we'd start climbing down the mountain towards the river. About halfway down there was a moss plateau/ platform about 15x10ft where we had about 5 plants growing. It was awesome to connect to nature and see the wildlife on the way. Easily one of the coolest projects of my life.

Neptune is decent but I wonder how their market penetration is. You might make a couple dollars per share on them, but you might be waiting for a while
. Hexo is one of the better valued LP's, and is a good play on Quebec. Overall from their expansions and foothold, I'd aim for $12-$15 minimum once they mature. The Moloson deal, although not amazing, is overlooked and one of the better existing partnerships. I wouldn't have a problem holding some.

Only thing that bothers me about Neptune is they have a focus on medical and currently only do formulations and extractions which does not hold alot of weight to me in a country that does not allow concentrates, although their deal with Canopy is extremely positive
Hexo is very small right now but I am really intrigued about it dealing in both medical and recreational, despite they sold off a large chunk of their shares to another company at what I think was undervalued ($4.90 american) despite buying a significant amount of stock

Nept was on my list of smaller companies, but I wound up just getting Halo instead. With nept you are waiting on some random press release that should come eventually, but I just don't see them as amazing executors.
Hexo doing a badly priced bought deal is one of the more forgivable screwups since the dilution wasn't massive and they don't have too many shares issued. I don't hold any, but they are the full package with lots of good reasons to buy and catalysts coming up. Quebec also has laws that don't allow citizens to grow legally, so that is a small bonus too.

Cooking fucking blows and I budget my eating out expenses into my monthly budgets. Yea I could save 60-80 bucks a week but the time saved and taste/quality of food I eat equalizes the expense in my book. Did you forget mortgage and car payments user? pure-Go nug renderer (which can work on the server outside of the browser) is just about complete. It can render static pictures of FLOWERs, pic related. This is a necessary step to make p2p FLOWER trading a reality, as trustless escrow systems require some kind of image URI api system.
We're also replicating the blockchain to a traditional DB, so we can query it much faster and more easily. This service will let us implement features like searching your collection, getting stats about how many of each flower exist, who the top hodlers are, search by flower feature, etc.
These two features should be coming within the next week, and then we're spending all of February finishing out a playable Alpha version of Flowerpatch. Hope that helps, user!

Developing on the blockchain is absolutely vital for this project, as collectible, tokenized FLOWER cards are provably owned by our players. You plant your FLOWERs on our immersive MMORPG world, kindly care for them & watch them grow, and ultimately harvest them for two tokens: SEED & NUG tokens. SEED will be an erc20, openly traded, and will be central to the Flowerpatch economy. SEED will be used to buy in-game items as well as FLOWERs, and you will only be able to "mine" (obtain) seed by growing & harvesting your FLOWERs. NUG token will be used as a gift card to partner dispensaries, so that you can grow FLOWERs and receive real cannabis as a nice cherry-on-top reward for playing the game.

Flowerpatch is a browser-based cannabis farming & cryptocurrency MMORPG currently in development. Players will manage their virtual farms through planting and harvesting cannabis crops. The FLOWER tokens (cards) - acquired through market purchases, player trades, harvesting, and breeding - are used by players to plant new and potentially unique flowers on their farms.
The breeding system is now active; it enables players to breed FLOWER cards in attempts to gain desirable traits in unique offspring FLOWERs. Randomization algorithms may also grant offspring stats or traits not found on its parents.
Harvesting a flower may yield SEED or NUG tokens and potentially a FLOWER card.
SEED tokens will be used as in-game currency to purchase additional farming land, better farming equipment, and other items.
NUG tokens will be redeemable (like vouchers/gift cards) in the real world for cannabis, at supported cannabis dispensaries (in areas where recreational cannabis is legal).
Inspired by farming games like Harvest Moon, Stardew Valley, and Minecraft (farming/botany addons), the Flowerpatch developers are hoping to make the best multi-player farming game and the best cannabis game. And the backend does this:
1) Parse incoming URL to get the ID
2) Fetch the FLOWER data straight from Ethereum
3) Render the nug in-memory using my new go-dragonbones lib
4) Serve the image to the user as if we just read it from a filesystem
How fast? 250ms round trip. Feels near-instant. And the Browser will cache these images, since it just sees them as normal PNGs
