Same. Are the good times really over?

why do i keep thinking 2009 was a couple days ago? :(

2009 was my freshman year of University, it was the beginning of my decline for me.

10 years on, I'm just as aimless as I was, but I have a bit more money and confidence now. But the aimlessness made me walk a path of shitty jobs and people that has smothered my youthful energy and it's now just smouldering, the jadedness I have built up are the rain droplets inching towards that smouldering ash.

1009 was 1010 years ago. Feeling old now?

I do not care that this is posted on Jow Forums, I want to take the opportunity now as a third year in university for advice from oldfags here on any regrets they may have, financial or otherwise

Ah yes, right after the singularity created Bitcoin and the first blockchain. Bring a tear to my *human* eye.

my life is so pointless without half life 3.

> tfw born too late to accumulate early

What are you studying? But it doesn't matter, whatever it is, there's thousands of others who are all competing for the same thing. So you're nothing special.

We used to play catch with BTC. It was just a Jow Forums thing before pepe before SJW's. Dear god remember friends?

Oh for sure, I'm an IR fag and am only doing this meme degree because it's at a top 25 university and my dad has contacts in all major world financial centres so I'm not terrified about finding a job in particular

Its not about anything else besides finding something that makes you feel okay with the fact that you are here on earth for one second. while a nice job or a nice girlfriend can distract you from that fact, you wont find hapiness until you learn to let go.

>thinks Daddy can find him a job

Sure he can snowflake. But it doesn't mean you'll be any better than your colleagues. You're going to have a tough time, I know your types.

RDR 2 gave me life again
It feels like yesterday I was getting in trouble at my new job bc I was sleepy from playing RDR1 all night

Bachelor frog and social anxiety penguin were the freshest memes around...
God fucking damnit.. Wrath of the lich king fucked me over so hard, but i still fucking love that game and want to go back.

Bacelor frog is still today my favorite image meme. Are you me user? Are you me?

I wanna go back lads

I still keep a collection on my old laptop as a reminder of the past... A reminder that i chose to browse /b/ instead of figuring out how to setup that damn Btc miner for my cpu..

I regret falling for meme financial pinheads like Ron Paul and Peter Schiff. Fuck them all.

Don't try to be cute and "outsmart" the market. Important thing is diversification, when one pool goes up you withdraw and invest in the other pools that are going down and spend some money on yourself.

After you graduate and get a job, your focus should be saving up for a down payment on a house/property. Don't buy a brand new car when you're young. Don't give into peer pressure. Cut off any "friends" that egg you on buying useless expensive stuff like that. Stand up for yourself. Don't be afraid to walk away. Stop wasting time on video games. Credit is everything so build up credit. Learn which cards to get, do your research. With cars, you don't want to be stupid-frugal but be smart. Don't be that socially autistic virgin that tries to save every penny. Be frugal-smart, not frugal-stupid.

Most important investment is yourself.

I remember playing this game as if it was yesterday.

I quite like this advice; I once read something funny directed towards Peter Schiff that went something like "you've predicted 15 of the last 3 recessions"

We are all gonna make it fren

2011 was fucking yesterday.
I remember saving a bunch of ">2011 >keeping your ketchup in the fridge >shiggydiggy" memes.

Mortgage payments are tax-deductible, you just need a large enough down payment to reduce the impact of interest
