Reminder that derivatives will be the first use case in mainnet. 1000$ Is possible eoy, especially when insurance and shipping are Chainlinked this year

Why is it dumping if Link is going to reach $1000?

Just saw someone sell over 40.000 Link

Why they sell it so eagerly at these prices?

Its Sunday

I'm as much of a link marine as the next guy, but that picture is absolutely retarded, there's no way in hell that Chainlink captures 10% of the derivatives market any time soon. And to assume that if it did it would automatically be worth 6 figures per token is a real reach.

Non the less, multiple hundred dollars per token is totally possible, and maybe even 1000$, but that would take a while for sure

they're swing trading:

1. btc is about to shit the bed
2. sell LINK now into usdt
3. wait until btc tanks and brings dollar value of LINK down.
4. buy back int LINK
5. repeat

lmao you do know the whole derivatives thing is just them alluding to market protocol, right?

Yes, in fact, chainlink is just a PoC in Swift and it seems they didn't gave a shit about it and just went with their own link gpi (that's completely unrelated because it's another PoC that passed the tests)

it's unironically over

that was for a bond payment lol
