I wanted to flip some UMA boxes but didn't have the capital in december. I'm waiting for a dip in stuff like OP pic, or might load up on shock lands. I don't see those doing anything crazy for a while though.

You can make more money faster buying large amounts of certain baseball card releases. You will need some startup capital however. Buy at pre sell prices. Wait, then resell on ebay

I've made an extra 7k in the past 7 months flipping collections. Also holding the fetches I get woth the collections. Currently only have 3 duals but got 2 dirt cheap (Could sell now and still double my money). When I was younger and snap just came out I traded and bought everyone I found locally when they were at $15-$20CAD. I'd even overtrade for them with atandard cards. Got about 30 of em then dumped at $65 CAD (Wish i held longer bur was happy with the payoff). MTG has been a MUCH better investment than crypto.

I had all those cards from revised, and my senpai sold them for like $20 at a yard sale when I was away. fml

Nah. Non-reserve list cards are always subject to reprinting, so you basically have to flip them to make money rather holding them long term. Reserve list cards like dual lands actually can make money, but it's still a hassle to deal with it in volumes large enough to make it worthwhile.

I did in 2013 its how I actually learned how to invest and actually make money. The trick is to Chase Value. What exactly do *YOU VALUE* not what you are trying to dump on other people. I knew these are rare and used in all my EDH/Legacy decks. Plus the history is cool. So I just bought a few because I valued them. The same is true for BTC. I dont want to sell my BTC because I value it too much. This is how I invest now. I buy things that I want and would gladly hold onto.

Funny enough, this is why I don't touch crypto. It has no value to me.
