is the process supposed to be slow? Bought one from ebay and the water's just there dripping and taking forever

Are you meant to leave it there for hours?

had an electric 1gal...took about 3 hours.

But be careful, buddy. If you dont get enough tap water sometimes you get so angry at the state of the world you want to go burn cars.

seems like a waste of energy as well, you have to turn the stove on at medium for hours only to have maybe less than a litre of distilled water

what do you mean fren

My 1 gallon distiller takes 5 hours, pretty reasonable for clean water desu

Also if pic related is your unit, thats big as fuck. Check out the megahome water distiller

Why is this a better solution than going to the store and getting bottles of distilled water? What are you doing with it?

reduces massive amounts of plastic waste and pays for itself in half a year of use

Red pills make user angry!

why the fuck are you distilling water tho

why don't you have the coolant system hooked up?

>Why is so little steam condensing?

Steam is invisible.

fell for the illuminati larp few days ago
so that's what the two taps are for... will look it up cheers

>fell for the illuminati larp few days ago
...tell me more

Listen there is a lot of bacteria in your gut. The benevolent city managers put chlorine in your water to kill them. Nice!
Also, they are worried about Iodine getting into your brain so they put Fluoride in to prevent your nervous system from accidentally taking it up. Thanks!
Finally, what makes tap water so important is trace amounts of hyperestrogen that can't be easily filtered from the urine of women who use birth control. Awesome!

Why not just buy some at a store you fucking retard?

Answer me one question: what does this have to do with Jow Forums?

Holy fuck how did so many retards posting here fail to ask this question?
>>>sci and >>>out are that way, newfag.

Yeah elaborate please. Haven't been on here in about a week. I'm interested though

quite a deep rabbit hole

>he doesnt distill his own water to save himself the trips to supermarkets
>he doesnt use a handkerchief to wipe his ass and save toilet paper costs

not gonna make it

You're an idiot.
Look up IOTA in that AMA.
You're welcome.

Enjoy your crumbling teeth.
Also ye, it takes long

distilled water? I feel sorry for you suburban/ urban fags. I'm rural as fuck, which has it downsides for sure, but one thing I've got is good water. water is not supposed to be sterile when you drink it. water is life.

any tips on remineralizing distilled water?

you get the minerals from the food you eat

user I have that exact same still (5g size) and a better one that isn't cheap chinese crap. I used to distill spirits mostly, and yes its supposed to take a fucking long time. A 5 gallon spirit run takes me about 9-12 hours for a couple mason jars full.

>not having a John Ellis distiller and Schauberger egg

Enjoy your dead water

>why don't you have the coolant system hooked up?
this ^

what a brainlet

You don’t even pull a vacuum and degass it? How new are you?

iodine, magnesium, selenium, zinc, little iron, little copper, maybe some more

new af the distiller literally just arrived this morning, have been autistically refilling the water manually every ~30mins

looking into cooling systems atm, are you supposed to hook the condenser tub to a huge water tank and pump water through it?
