"it doesnt seem reasonable to suggest that Phase 2 could launch before 2020. Which is to say, while ETH2.0 may launch this year, dont expect ETH2.0 support assert transfer or smart contracts until at least 2020."
mark 13.40 on video, quote:
"Given what we know after talking to both the research team and the implementation with real utility to dApp developers is not feasible for at least another year and half."
other platforms doing today, what ETH trying to do year 2020
so logical conclusion is that ETH price is continue to drop, while there is better platforms replace ETH
it might even be that ETH fade away totally, if ETH doesnt upgrade
cryptoworld is very hectic, if no results, you are out, this is pure capitalism, and ETH isnt some sacred cow, ETH is another altcoin that may die if ETH doesnt upgrade, and ETH have lots of competitors who are willing to overthrow ETH
Robert Clark
ETH fanboys, do you have some arguments?
or are you ETH beleivers, ETH cultists, that beleive ETH because it mooned during 2017 cryptohype
but now its 2019, ETH value has dropped, and there is other competitors willing to replace ETH
Joseph Jones
nigga u can't even speak English LMAO
Samuel Rodriguez
>so logical conclusion is that ETH price is continue to drop, while there is better platforms replace ETH That's the problem. None of the competitors are sufficiently decentralized.
Jace Nguyen
english is not my native langue
but i really wonder, why there is so much ETH beleivers, ETH is them like some sacred cow, like ETH is not like another altcoin that value may drop to near zero if ETH doesnt deliver and deveploment
Christopher Johnson
>reddit spacing >english is not my native langue >>>/plebbit/
Nathan Cooper
im not reddit member
what i understood, ETH is reddit favorite coin
but what i see that these ETH beleivers, what their fait is based, its based only wishful thinking and baseless hope that ETH is going to make another mooning again like 2017, quite childish thinking when you realize how volatile cryptoworld is cryptoworld is constant competition, many forme top alt has died
new altcoins coming constantly, if you dont deveploment, that coin destiny is fade a way
Andrew Myers
Learn English and then come back
Brandon Brooks
So what do you want from us? To tell you to sell your eths for some shitty coin?
p.s.: you should sell your eths for some shitty coin
go pajeeting somewhere else
Jack Peterson
What other competitor even resembles competition right now? Not just in technology, but in the sheer number of eyeballs looking at it and building on it
Parker Barnes
ETH has been shit since the beginning. The only people holding it are delusional brainlets who fell for Vitalik's memes.
James Edwards
i dont want anything i just note and wonder, that why so many beleive that ETH is going to be top 3 altcoin
my point is, that ETH could drop out top 10 in cmc if ETH dont deveploment, and if we look ETH situation objective perspect, it doesnt look good for ETH, its upgrade is very uncertain and very slow even at its best schedule
Jason Jackson
Problem is, it's the only decentralized smart contract platform. The rest are DPOS, which is vulnerable to corruption and sabotage. Might as well have a FED coin or facebook or google or amazon coin.
The original goal wasn't to launch unlicensed securities and beanie babies. It was to experiment with decentralized economics and governance. Which is a noble goal.
Jace Turner
since facts leads conclusion that ETH doesnt upgrade this year 2019, what make you think that ETH price would not drop this year
Logan Edwards
people are not interested decentralized issue, besides, ETH isnt so much decentralized
people are interested trends and new better tech smart contract platforms
for example EOS is superior compared to ETH by technology
Charles Garcia
ETH price will drop this year since BTC price bottom is not in yet. ETH is the original smart contract platform and like BTC it has a special status of being the most trusted and stable. Currently there are no good alternatives to ETH and for that reason it will remain one of the top coins.
Grayson Foster
You have bad logic. In crypto superior technology is not everything. If it was bitcoin would not be the #1 coin right now. There are other parts that you need to look at such as community involvement, trustworthiness, and simple marketing. Like I mentioned previously other alternatives such as neo and eos are not considered suitable replacements for ETH at this time.
Anthony Harris
> ETH is the original smart contract platform
wtf... if ETH was first smart contract platform, that doesnt make it "original"
its like when first cars made, and after then later came more better cars, its like claiming that people dont buy these new better cars, because first ones is "original" cars
>Currently there are no good alternatives to >ETH and for that reason it will remain one of >the top coins.
total bullshit, ETH lean to ICOs, and goverments all over the world ban ICOs
EOS has airdrop model, which is superior, because you cant scam peoples money with airdrops
and EOS is superior tech compared to ETH
Dominic Flores
>centralized shitcoins doing what a truly decentralised platform like ETH plans to do
Retards are so easily fooled
Camden Gutierrez
EOS is centralized you idiot No one fucking cares about it if we did it would have a larger marketcap than ethereum
Based
James Nguyen
>another platforms doing already what ETH wants if you say EOS is already doing what ETH wants, you might as well say the same of a centralized single server.
Jaxson Nguyen
this
Nolan Gonzalez
You are missing the point of cryptocurrency. We are trying to take all power and control away from corporations and government. Projects like EOS and NEO do the complete opposite. Please stop thinking with your emotions.
Noah Butler
>other platforms doing today, what ETH trying to do year 2020 No. The reason it is taking so long is that it is cutting edge research. No one else is already doing what Ethereum is trying to do. If they did, ethereum could just copy their solution and there would be no problem. Other competing blockchains with seemingly better specs, like EOS, does so by sacrificing what is arguably the most important aspect of blockchains: decentralization. There is no reason to have a blockchain if it is not trustless and robust, no matter how high TPS it has.
Adrian Phillips
>EOS has airdrop model, which is superior, because you cant scam peoples money with airdrops What is that for a retarded arguement? >and EOS is superior tech compared to ETH EOS is not decentralized. What is there not to understand?
Levi Evans
if anything, OP's retarded reasoning is a buy signal for ETH lol
Daniel Miller
eth upgrades this month retard
Luke Campbell
wrong, look the video that i posted first message
Benjamin Taylor
Explain why something so big in development should come out prematurely? Normies want it to come out so it pumps and they cash out back to USD. It will be quite awhile before 1% of the world turns to 50% of the eorld using cryptocurrencies and smart contracts. It's been 10 years since Bitcoin was born. How much has changed since then? It wasn't until Ethereum that all these new projects started coming out because Ethereum allows you to deploy tokens almost immediately. Despite the scams, Ethereum is a work in progress and it will be around as long as the development continues to get deeper, better, stronger, and decentralized economies start booming.
Caleb Sullivan
Tell me about it lol
Jack Thomas
ETH will have a boost in scalability because of ChainLink
Jaxon Price
nope
Blake Mitchell
this pretty much desu
Andrew Price
I'm guessing he's Russian
Matthew Adams
>other competitors willing to replace ETH chinks doing ICOs because it's easy money VS the best crypto team out there. Your choice...
Cameron Lopez
> Develop on EOS for a living. > Entire governance model of EOS can be changed. > 21 Producers can be over 100 if a chain calls for it. > 21 Producers can be 3 if a chain calls for it. > Voting system can go 1:1 if necessary. > Voting system can be gutted if necessary. > RAM and CPU Models are completely adjustable. > Can literally make a decentralized socialism chain if you want. > Each of these chains can talk to one another allowing for different governance models to function with each other. This is called the IBC. > IBC will allow system currencies to be converted between different chains. > Game developers are looking for high throughput to build cross-communication in games without placing the burden upon their users. > Blockchain is the answer to EU data laws and having a scalable platform is incredibly important. Own your data, not the company. > EOS has the most active development team and the biggest war chest in the entire space. > EOS will house the first decentralized banking system that allows you to own a portion of the bank. The smart contracts will remove the necessity for human intermediaries. > Writing smart contracts for EOS can take a day or two; while writing for Ethereum and testing it takes fucking ages. > EOS has massive VC funding that is getting funneled into various projects and hackathons to push development and growth. > 4 or 5 different EOS chains currently exist and two of them are talking to each other. > Slowly but surely a governance model will exist for whatever stupid beliefs you have.
Julian Diaz
not sure if this is supposed to be fud or shill
Dominic Adams
> EOS developers and partners are working towards blurring the lines between blockchain and traditional login systems. > Block. One is working on a hardware wallet that will rival anything else on the market. > Imagine having a checking wallet on hand and a savings wallet at home. You can access your checking account at any time. Accessing your savings account requires you to plug in two devices to your computer or one into the other. > Chestnut > Geneos > Smartpress > Ubuntu Energy Ledger > Ducatur > EOS EBT Food Stamps > B-Tax > Blockflare > EOShield > Jarmbi > On The Block > Pollinate > Six Degrees > Smart City Steroids > Token Tree > Africonnect > True Origin > NouGit
The entire premise of EOS makes it incredibly easy to write entire contracts for various devices. I've written a smart contract for home automation that I can trust since I own the fucking key and it won't take me over three minutes to open my front door if I choose to change my locking system.
Nathan Gray
Shill. I work with EOS on a daily basis. The general idea is that EOS is more flexible than any other chain. It's the Linux of blockchains. Take the code, adjust it, and use it for what you need.
Jeremiah White
Bitcoin was blockchain vol 1 Ethereum was blockchain vol 2 EOS is blockchain vol 3
EOS is so far ahead and full of potential compared to ETH that its unbelievable
and EOS has use just very small amount its potential, maybe one percent
and one practical step for EOS is that you can put for example your own name to be you account, or some word
its so much easier to transaction, you just say your account name, which is some name, its always easy to remember and no need to put some complex 0xadsgfljsflsdjfklaslkj if we talk ETH
Liam Baker
ETH is invented by an alien bro. Goodluck competing with that.
Lincoln Anderson
This makes me bullish
Bentley Mitchell
if you think the value of a blockchain is in "muh tech" you have no idea what any of this is about
Logan Robinson
Isn't Ziliqa closer to sharding than Ethereum?
Brayden Baker
>people don't care about decentralization And they're here for the wrong reasons. This is a political technology. It's about making central bureaucracies and borders irrelevant. They won't like that once irrelevance sinks in and they will arrest developers. >eth isn't decentralized Bullshit. If it were centralized, scaling would just be a matter of upgrading servers.
Julian Price
MS DOS is closer to sharding than Ethereum
Hunter Smith
You did not just try to shill EOS by likening it to Linux, do you want me to buy TRX?
