This is what I don’t get. If he is satoshi. Why push SV. Can’t BTC be updated enough on its own?

It would have had an increase in block size but we all know how that ended up. Blockstream comes in to take over development. Even though it's an open source project, you can gather a group of certain people to develop it, making their ideas central to its growth. They refuse to increase the block size limit and they're pushing a centralized second layer to scale BTC to be used as cash.
It's not peer to peer if you lock your funds in a state channel and have to keep a node online 24/7.

Have read it now, it was a decent read. Wish he mentioned the other guys that were part of creating bitcoin. Some sentences could have used some proof reading before publishing but the ending was nice.
