Anyone here play slot machines?

Last time I went to the local casino, played slots for the 2nd time in my life. With $50 initial I won about $400, and cashed out. Is this a feasible way of making money?

Ideally my strategy would be

>go in with $50
>if I win, I win multiple hundred $
>if I lose, I only lose $50

Am I smart?

I ran a casino for 13 years.

You'll lose, it's 1 long game that returns 98% of your bet. If you play 1 bet of 10$/game, you actually lose 0.2$. Doesn't matter if you win or not.

Never entering that place again, is the only way you win;

Yep. Casinos would go out of business if smart people like you went there.

What do you think about playing poker in a casino? That's the only way I've ever won with any regularity.

you'll have more times that you leave losing 50 than win multiple hundreds. then one of those times you'll keep going and lose everything. but to be clear even with perfect discipline your strategy very quickly loses money in a 100% verified fashion

what about roulette? that cant be rigged

Play digital roulette, bet on red. You have nearly 50-50 chance of doubling your money.

>Go in with $50
>Bet $25
>If you win, now you have $75, bet $50
>If you lose, you still have $25 to get back to $50
>Repeat, but never bet more than $50 in one go.
I have played that once and went from $20 to $180 with this method.

it's rigged
