haha imagine if she let out a BRAAP and having to smell it haha *SNIFFF* haha, but that would be crazy haha

nice! I'm a remote dev too with a comfy US based job. I'd be traveling the world if I wasn't tied down with a family right now.

Consultant from Ireland?

did that during a period of time (desu its cool, but its overrated too), still something i would recommend to whoever gets the chance, but dont kick yourself for not being able. you can always travel with your family for nice comfy vacations

also protip: remote in SA where IRS are a mess, means that money pretty much tax free

Freelance sound for movies & such, 30k. I live cheap & do work I enjoy so don't mind the shit pay for now.

wut? No, I work on radar systems.

electrical engineer
couldnt find a job for 6 months after graduation
finally took a 60k job in fucking bay area, im being scammed.
my degree is a scam. my salary is a scam. currently im interviewing for a new job hoping to get at least 70k

i have no job

i'm looking for anything, ideally at least $20/hr because that is what i got paid at my old job

all i have is 5 years of web development experience and en economics degree

i have applied to about 1000 places and got no replies back

fuck my life. what kind of job can a person even get with an economics/business bachelor's degree and no relevant work experience?

>all i have is 5 years of web development experience and en economics degree
Nibba you retarded. Web devs with 5 years know more about the field than comp sci majors.

Try looking at marketing and ad agencies or web development agencies that they farm work out to.

>Web devs with 5 years know more about the field than comp sci majors.
employers don't see to care

>Try looking at marketing and ad agencies or web development agencies that they farm work out to.
i've applied to about 1,000 places for 'web development' positions.

it's a waste of time. i don't even know if i want to do it anymore

Those are some amazing Brappers. How much REQ do I need?

I cant find a job because I dont have experience

t. bs and ms in cs

how do you not have experience coding if you got a degree in it? didn't you code for your degree?

why not download some example code samples and just fuck around with them, change them 5% and make it your "portfolio" ?

Your degree isn't a scam you're just in the wrong area man. I graduated last year EE got a job right away in the midwest. Make ~$80k/yr my rent is like $400/month life is good

I also live in the Midwest. Is an EE degree better than a CS degree?

req kek

This is what the first brap was posted too and inspired the brapp pasta

Based and brap-pilled.

I don't believe you at all. Know a bunch of fobs from SA with masters in comp engineering who were only making 40k before moving over here. In fact the high end of average in SA is only 26k:
statista.com/statistics/882808/average-salary-software-developer-latin-america-country/

Perhaps you meant you are making 72k peso

Hmm. I put my schooling on hold. If i finish getting my math/applied math degree but don't immediately get a job after because i have so much money and I want to travel or explore other avenues will it be hard for me to get a job later?

make 90k as a junior dev and about to job hop

$100k including bonus

Mechanical Engineer, master's degree, 6 years experience plus internships during school. With my third company since graduating.

They're both good. It really depends on which one interests you more. But I think there's more opportunities in the Midwest for EE because there's more manufacturing ,rather than tech startups that tend to pop up in big cities.

NO. MY LEATHER UPHOLSTERY.

EMT for a county 911 service
Technically 39.5k a year but overtime isn’t factored in (24/48 schedule) and I try to pick up an extra 24 every week so last year I made roughly ~60k

Currently 100% in BTC with like 500$ lol
