Is there a profitable gambling strategy?

Since everyone is gambling with shitcoins here why not talk about real gambling. I was doing some research on Black Jack, seems like most EU casinos use CSM now. Does anyone know a manual shuffle casino? Or is there any other strategy? Maybe even online?

You think the casino's running a billion dollar business do it to lose money? No there is no edge. And if there is, it's quickly squashed. Even poker games have become unprofitable at most places because of the rake.

You can get a very tiny edge in live blackjack if you are good at counting cards. You will get banned quickly though. It's probably not worth the time investment. Poker is still beatable, but you have to put in a lot of work. Especially if you play online where you're competing against poorfag pros who are more than happy to be making $5/hour. Sports betting is also beatable, but you have to be extremely talented. And it should go without saying that almost all sports bettors WAY overestimate their own skills.

Almost all other forms of traditional gambling are unbeatable unless you cheat (don't).

>Go to count cards at a casino
>Nearly double my money in about 20 mins
>Guy who seems like he might be undercover sits down next to me and plays with more money than I have
>Dealer keeps hitting on a hard 17
>Loses it suspiciously quickly
>Tries to make conversation and steers it in a way to get me to admit to counting cards
>Pit boss comes over and hands dealer eight decks to shuffle in, resetting the count and dividing the new count by 8
>Tells the dealer "speed it up"
>Dealer speeds up his dealing

The minute they figure out what you're doing they deploy all kinds of measures to try and shut you down, and if they can't there's a good chance they'll try and ban you.

>Casino offers to play a game with you
>A team of mathematicians designed this game to be rigged in their favor
>Find a way to play that gives you an advantage
>Casino throws you out for being good at one of their games

Why is this legal? Why do casino goers tolerate this?

>Dealer keeps hitting on a hard 17
Are they even allowed to do that?

A surprisingly large proportion of people at casinos are laundering money

They aren't supposed to.

I just wanna vent here since it's kinda relevant.
I lost $300 today by gambling on a bitcoin gambling website. I feel like shit because I never gambled before and losing $300 just like that makes me feel sick. I'm gonna try to recover because honestly I got greedy and made some mistakes but fuck man, it fucking sucks.

>I'm gonna try to recover
you're literally falling into the gambling pit, this is always how it starts

Quit while you’re ahead.

I think he meant the donkey that sat next to him.

I know but in this game I can have 60% chance of winning every round if I choose so. I just got greedy and my bankroll couldn't handle it

Winning 60% is irrelevant without knowing the payout ratio.. And we all know the odds are not in your favour. Two bad decisions doesn't make a right. Cutting your losses is the right thing to do..

just saying man. you know how you always hear about those dumb motherfuckers who go broke and shit from gambling? it's always because they lost it first, then tried to recover their losses but lose even bigger which basically wipes them out. it's a slippery slope.

kelly criterion, martingale strategy -- 2 things you should look into. try it on eosbet.io or moon3d.io, works short term

Arbitrage betting. There are websites that have live updates on sports betting opportunities, you’ve just got to be quick

what site?

Martingale is doesn't work and is for retards. Kelly Criteron would tell you not to bet on any casino games because you have negative edge.

>Sports betting is also beatable, but you have to be extremely talented
True if you want to make proper money but there are lots of easy ways for retards to make a bit of cash at sports betting. Arbitrage, matched betting, steam chasing, scalping top prices, of course you'll eventually get restricted/banned if you use these strategies but any moron could make a couple of grand doing so before being stopped.

Biarritz is/was manual shuffle

Martingale only works if you are running a hedge fund.

Kelly criterion only works if you are running a casino, illegal sports betting, or running an investment firm.

I used to use Kelly criterion when dicing was a thing on Runescape. Basically, I would host with 53/47 odds of winning and have a max bet slightly above what the formula suggests.

Check out the Kelly Criterion and don't go to a casino. Find high probability events to gamble on, and wager the correct portion to slowly grow your bankroll over time. The key to gambling or even investing is risk management.

In blackjack you gain an edge by counting cards combined with playing perfect basic strategy and betting aggressively when the count is good. You will win in the long haul, but it's basically like grinding in an rpg and will take a lot of time with many ups and downs along the way. You also need a large pot of money to start so you can avoid bankruptcy during down times.

It's honestly not much better than waging.

kelly criterion is an important technique for not going broke but you have to have an edge first. and in casino games you won't have that
but if you find some way to get an edge then by all means look into Kelly

>It's honestly not much better than waging.
this
same with professional poker. unless you're playing very high stakes it's just a punishing grind

This poker app on EOS is very fishy. I’ve made 2.5 k in 10 days playing 0.1-0.2 EOS stakes.
