Idk I got a degree in econ but I also complemented it with math and stats classes.

If I could have picked any major I would have picked history as I really enjoy history but there's no jobs with that degree.

I've been working in an analytics role for going on 4 years now. Honestly I'd say the econ degree didn't help that much. Hell I know people with math degrees who say it didn't help that much. Whatever you study in college you will probably forget after a couple of years unless you go to grad school or get a job doing something directly related.

Honestly I don't regret my econ degree. I still have a nice job and good career prospects. I think if you have a college degree and are not stupid then there is no reason you shouldn't be gainfully employed.
