>has strong partnership with IOST, team is building own customized blockchain explorer and also etherstellar crosschain wallet (like metamask but with special features) >also more utility coming for tokens, such a governance options
>team said they're still working on bigger exchange listings.

Rate3 is a decentralized dual protocol that bridges enterprises to the blockchain through cross-chain asset tokenization and identity management. They recently has exhibited their cross-chain swap live on the testnet. The cross-chain swap is a service to transfer an asset that is non-native to one blockchain onto another blockchain and vice versa. The team said; this interaction will serve as a foundation to build upon for other instances of cross-chain swaps that are done by Rate3. Such as the recently announced strategic parnertship with IOST and the they introduced the IOST iStablecoin initiative. RTE token utility:
Payment for cross-chain swaps - Payment fee. For example our IOST iStablecoin service - which helps users swap ERC20 stablecoins to Token20 stablecoins on IOST - will accept fees in RTE. Rate3 is exploring burning/locking-up those RTE tokens collected as fees, or redirecting them to a treasury that is to be governed by RTE holders
Payment for minting/burning of tokenized assets - Asset issuer will pay a fee in RTE when they are to use the mint or burn smart contracts from the Rate3 protocol. Likewise we are also exploring burning/locking those RTE fee tokens received
Asset staking - certain tokenized asset issuers may wish to add more validity to the value of the underlying asset backing the tokens issued by them (or want the option to not use a trust company). The Rate3 protocol allows those issuers to allow for RTE to be staked and to back what they’re issuing, in exchange for a % yield
Identity creation - RTE to be used as a mandatory “staking deposit” when a user wishes to create a cross-chain (ETH and XLM) identity with the Rate3 protocol to deter spam Sybil attacks
