Generally spinach as is. Sometimes kale too. Works well to clean my teeth before I brush them. Oxolates feel pretty neat.

eggs / spinach is more a lunch thing, with chilli sauce.
Fasting is generally healthy to do. Matcha tea is nice as it has about 5-7x the amount of L-Theanine in regular green tea due to shading techniques used when grown.
Graditude is good to have. Before eating, I thank the animals killed and the people all along the supply chain and history who made my meal possible.

Been fine tuning breakfast for several years. Dairy is nice for breakfast, but I supplement with iron, so no dairy until lunch.

Loads of people use water, in fact in Scotland (where porridge originates), they mainly use water.
I do my oats with hot milk, cocoa powder, and grinded coconut for flavour and fats, also some homegrown honey from my parents.

Depends on your goals. Breakfast does sound like "break fast", so wouldn't be surprised if viewed in that way.
Generally 12 hours is minimum I've seen considered for basic fasting, although some may argue for a higher minimum. Terry Crews doesn't eat right away. IIRC, he waits until lunch time before eating. Claims it helps him to control cravings, gives him more energy and keeps his body fat percentage lower.
Not bait at all. Don't even have a Reddit account. Find that eating healthy, exercise and keeping my mind healthy allows for a more centered life and makes me more appreciative of life. Sounds super memey for sure. However, too much anger and living unhealthy fueled isolation and disconnected me from friends and family.

OP here, on my computer now. The water route is due to taking iron afterwards. Milk may bind to iron and lower absorption. Hot milk definitely makes oatmeal tastier. Sometimes add honey too for taste.
My concern is with salmonella in raw eggs. I sometimes drink liquid egg as that is pasteurized.

I believe in taking care of myself, and a balanced diet and a rigorous exercise routine. In the morning, if my face is a little puffy, I’ll put on an ice pack while doing my stomach crunches. I can do a thousand now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial masque which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion. There is an idea of a Patrick Bateman. Some kind of abstraction. But there is no real me. Only an entity. Something illusory. And though I can hide my cold gaze, and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping yours, and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable, I simply am not there.

Don't think I'm a fatty. 6' 4" and hover around 165 lbs. Took a lot of weight training and eating to get to there. Used to be that height and 142. Went as low as 137 for a bit. Ran a lot and ate fast food all the time back then.

i just introduced the fasting thing last week but prior to that i used to eat once a day all the time.

I'm taking iron supplements due to a lot of weight lifting and cardio and I don't eat much red meat. My iron levels are within normal range as per my last blood test.
Dad's a doc and talked with a doc friend who has done research around iron and said that most adults have lower iron, especially those that are active. IIRC, big issue is the varying levels of iron absorption depending on the source.
I also have ADHD and low iron levels can cause some symptoms that mimic and can worsen ADHD.
As far as meditation, my approach is laying down in bed with noise canceling headphones one and some deep breathing, then letting my mind start to accept thoughts that come to it. Anecdotally, I tend to follow through on my planned tasks better post meditation.
Relatively new start. Hopefully fasting will lead you closer to the improvements you seek. Smart to keep your electrolytes in balance.
Curious, what's wrong with eggs beyond risk of increasing cholesterol? Been mixing store bought eggs and farm fresh eggs (acquired via my oldest sister's bf's family). Probably start consuming more egg whites rather than three whole eggs a day.

I'm an aerospace engineer (astro track), shipping to OCS in April.
first thing every morning I go for a 3 mile run followed by pullups and pushups. what time i wake up depends, if I'm lazy i'll do 7am, normally i do 530. I'm not a morning person so i struggle to get out the door. do my run, get home and do a protein shake then go shower.shit,shave. after that if I have time, which I normally do, I make a 3 egg omelet with cheese and tomato, i also have a solid hefty chunk of feta cheese and maybe some spinach or arugula. I'll have a cup of coffee along with all this.
fasting is okay but there's no reason to starve yourself. fasting triggers survival instincts such as your brain working harder and faster, so you can find food, but I've found that this will make you burn out faster for no real benefit.
That's a neat career track.
Early more runs are nice to do after the run is over. Did that ~14 years ago for cross country. Makes the rest of the day better.
