Its totally worth it. You get around 1100 euros a month while studying in uni and have 20k loan after 5 years. You dont see homeless people too much. Lots of good things being done with those taxes. One does not need to be afraid of going to hospital without insurance.

Nah see the problem we Americans have with taxes is we dont get anything for it. We pay as much per capita for healthcare as England does but we dont get free healthcare, that's only for the elderly, brown, and destitute. We pay a ton to assist with housing but that's only for the elderly, brown, and destitute. My tax rate with Federal, State, and FICA is 37% but I still get no real programs, it doesnt even cover roads (tolls all over my state) because our system treats the middle class like a wallet for everyone else. When you're 40% brown you'll be against taxes too.

Local newspaper here does a "Top 10" list for every fucking birthyear. This is a town with less than 50k ppl.

I've been on the list every year since I turned 20 for my birthyear, nothing every came of it thankfully.
